Hi thank you for the feedback its unfortunate that both areas you left feedback on are out of our control. The birds cannot be disturbed due to Spanish law been very interesting to most guests watching them dart about. But if you do not like birds then understand. I shall make the birds more of a prominent feature thank you for letting me know. Distance yes it normally takes 15 minutes myself 20 to get to commercial unfortunately cant change that. I do hope these 2 negatives did not hinder your enjoyment of the area and the apartment to much.

We send out a lot of information and yes there is a list of problems or items which will incur charges this has to be provided so that everything is transparent from the start. We have had problems occur during our time in Algorfa and try to include everything in the house book so it's to hand when a guest is staying. Most guests find this helpful and like that they do not have to make calls to find out what they need to know. A welcome pack is offered but this does incur a charge of the items which are requested and for collection. We try and provide tea coffee sugar and toilet rolls soap for arrival, but we are a Self-catering establishment and provide a home from home experience and guests expect to do their own shopping and washing up we do provide a dish washer to help with this. Removal of rubbish is in the interest of guests as the heat currently in Spain does make for a rather smelly experience if left. Bins are emptied daily and its located literally outside of the community. Most residents just take bag when going out. Cleaning fees are common in Spain and we do not charge per person for laundry as this is all provided this makes us very competitive locally. Our Housekeeper does a very good job and makes sure clean linens and towels are provided and the overall apartment is clean. Maid service is more common in hotels not so much self catering apartments. The pictures show there are only 2 sunbeds Its my personal choice to provide 2 as the space is limited. There are however fold up chairs left for guests to use. Normally lilos are left out at side of garden maybe they have been removed. The TV package had gone off the evening before at first it was thought a reboot of system would solve but when this did not work a repair slot was booked yes this did take an hour but full service was available after this time, I was rather impressed at the speed of the service provided for this. Wifi is provided free and this enables guests to tailor their holiday and look up places they would like to visit, we provide a list of local areas we think may be of interest and leaflets previous guests have collected and wanted to share. We do however offer to provide further information if needed and would do if requested, we send a email to all guests asking if they require further information, on this occasion we did not receive a reply. There is a NFC tag that does provide locations this was in the dos and don'ts or house book as I prefer to refer to my information. Unfortunately, we were broken in to and one of our garden chairs was taken which left 5 the table set came with 6 chairs which was rather annoying as only needed 4. With regards to aircon and requesting care be taken I think this is a reasonable request as we trust total strangers with our holiday home and as many people who Host will agree there are times when aircon is left on unnecessarily. We had to arrange for the call out to rewind the awning which had been over wound, as seasoned hosts we do expect times when accidents happen and are more then happy to communicate with guests and provide help and Information. we provide all guests with our phone numbers and email in case they need to contact no matter what the reason.Unfortunately, on this occasion we have only been made aware after the guests have checked out that they required assistance with directions. we do try to make ourselves contactable at most times and are on whats app as well to answer questions.

Thank you for The feedback. It's actually a good thing to know the electric fire is noisy as when we were there it wa to hot to have it on. That's something we shall look to improving and replacing with a quiter version. It's good to know otherwise the apartment was as expected . Karen and Andre

Apartment was refurbished and you were our 2nd guests in so pleased to hear you liked it. All our prices including cleaning fee are advertised before booking so that any potential guest is aware of the competative cleaning fee. This is payable locally to housekeeper to ensure that apartment is clean and equipped with fresh linens for guests and providing a meet and greet service.The apartment is self catering but we do leave hand soap toilet roll dustbin bags,and there was tea and coffee and sugar in the apartment. A personlised shopping pack is offered for cost of someone collecting.we always take on board constructive feedback and try to improve what we offer.
