Normally expect some sort of welcome basket, there was none. There was a lot of furniture in the condo albeit very dated and in some cases stained.Most importantly the location of the the condo is misrepresented on the website. On the map and in the description it is in Alice Town when actually it is in Bimini Bay. In retrospect we are glad that is where it was, however the VRBO website is misleading. The unit was relatively clean but I'm pretty sure there has been water damage Base boards are rotted away from the dry wall especially around the stacked washer and dryer. The internet worked well AC was fine. Beds were fine, ample hot water. As I stated the unit is in the Bimini Bay community which is part of the Radisson Resort World Bimini. It does seem very safe it is gated and guests have access to most of the amenities of the hotel complex including the very nice beach / pool complex at the North end of the island. Be aware, that is where all the cruise ship people end up. I have read several reviews about the hotel itself, many negative, mostly revolving around unfriendly staff. We did not find that to be the case. The hotel complex has a Casino a couple of sit down restaurants were the food was hit or miss. There is also a shopping area called Fisherman's Village with a bar several shop and a place for ice cream. Mostly and sadly, the bar, stores and shops were closed. Not empty, just closed, so I don't know if this was a seasonal issue?
