This may have been a last minute decision but it was a good one. We were met by friendly and gracious owners and staff. Such a serene atmosphere with unique rooms, a spa, restaurant, garden and pool. Staff could not be more accommodating. We were blessed to find them. Thank you so much.”
“Accès très difficile en raison d'une trentaine de marches étroites et raides. Une seule fenêtre dans la cuisine et quelques vasistas dans le plafond mansardé des chambres. Gîte sous équipé en matériel culinaire, deux casseroles, aucun plat, très peu de couverts et de vaisselle. Aucun placard aménagé, une banquette avachie devant la télévision. A déconseiller.”

The room was ok size and kind of new minimalistic concept without storage closet or tea kettle, room cleaning was ok but not sufficient even before us there were some leftovers from former guests. And the floor was dusty.
The pool is very small, asking for an extra fee for parking is a bit of unwelcoming together with refusing my request to add tea and small boiler for drinks.
No minibar.

“We really loved our stay in Sintra, staff was very helpful and the city itself is magic with all the castles and gardens.
Bare in mind that Is it historical center and no supermarkets or pharmacy nearby.”
“The room was ok, clean enough however we saw some silverfishes on the floor here and there. The only good thing about the breakfast was the omelette station. The fruit was saggy, there were no lactose free cheese and only one kind of glutenfree bun which got tiring after a couple of days. I miss good papaya and fresh fruits, better gluten and lactose free options. We had lunch at the restaurant one day and it was terrible and took a very long time to get the food and they were understaffed....
