  • Cabin located in a remote location just minutes from the Chain 0' Lakes and downtown Waupaca. Looking for access to all the fun without the cost and chaos? Then this is for you. Surrounded by 120 acres of private property available for hiking with permission and a five minute trek to the Ice Age Trail and Hartman Creek State Park make this is a great getaway for those seeking some relaxation while still enjoying all the amenities that the Waupaca and Amherst areas have to offer. Well-equipped kitchen and standard refrigerator and freezer make meals a breeze with dining opportunities both inside as well as the private deck. Low cost makes renting a pontoon, kayaks, or jet skis more affordable on the Chain. TV is equipped with a Chromecast and requires use of a casting device (phone, tablet, etc.) to be used. Wi-fi also on premise. Please be aware there is no air conditioning. Ceiling has sky lights that tend to heat cabin up. Each room has a ceiling fan and there are portable fans as well.

Hidden gem in the nest of nature

Very pleased and excited about the visit we had clean everything you need to survive for the weekend or a week mother nature all around you the whippoorwill was a fun concert at night so relaxing will be back definitely a hidden gem worth checking out

Great host and great property

We had a wonderful visit as a family. We had the best of both worlds, being secluded in a private wooded area but conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Our host was phenomenal and unexpected upgraded us to a newer property due to miscommunication on his end with cleaning the cabin we were originally supposed to stay in. Would absolutely stay in this area again!

Clean cabin in secluded woods

The cabin is clean, just as described, easy to find, and very peaceful back in the woods. Gravel drive to the cabin and small hill, so just make sure your car can manage inclimate weather. Host is very easy to contact and good communication.

Great place to unwind

Beautiful location, and very quiet. We did some exploring and hiking while we were there. A short 10 minute trip into town for supplies, restaurants etc… Our host was great, and easy to contact. We highly recommend!!

Lovely, Would Stay Again in a Heartbeat

We had just an absolutely perfect stay here. It was so peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. It felt like we were off the grid, while being in driving distance of all the major towns. Property was accurately represented and had more than everything we needed. Accolades all around!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin tucked back in the woods. So quiet and serene! Loads of privacy. Very clean, and well stocked. TV with casting worked perfectly and you’re just a short drive into Waupaca.

Lovely rustic cabin in the woods

Me, my husband, and our 16 month old stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! Cabin is bright, clean, and the perfect size for a small family. The property it's located on is gorgeous, with tons of space to explore, meadows to sunbathe in, and nature to enjoy. The owner was accommodating and helpful. Would definitely come back!

Nice quiet cabin

Great place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet off the beaten path. Cabin has everything you need. Owner was very easy to communicate with. The only downside is that the driveway could be a challenge if you have a low-riding car or a big vehicle that you don't want to get scratched up.

Very nice home, quiet setting

We enjoyed the quiet, woodsy setting. The home has plenty of room and a full kitchen. We were unsure why a picture of a pond shows on the listing. There isn't a pond nearby.

Loved, loved, loved staying at this cabin! Quiet and private, but still a short drive away from local attractions. Beautiful property, and no bugs for being in the middle of a wooded area! I was so shocked and grateful! The owner was kind and very clear with directions and things we would need to know, there was really no need to reach out. My boyfriend and I are already making a list of things to do next time we visit. Thank you so much for having us!
