Falta de aire acondicionado….
El principal problema que hemos tenido, es la falta de aire acondicionado. Había dos aparatos estropeados, uno de ellos en la habitación principal y con los que había no acondicionaban la vivienda. Se avisó a la propiedad y no nos dio una solución. El wifi tampoco fue hasta el tercer día, después de avisar. No está acondicionado para 8 personas ya que una de las habitaciones dobles no reúne las condiciones, olía mucho a humedad, y el aire que había portátil hacía muchísimo ruido. En cuanto a las vistas, ubicación y la playa muy bien aunque necesitas el coche para todo.

We have investigated the issues with our local agent, who advised that the air-conditioning was functioning perfectly upon the arrival of these guests. At the time it was very hot throughout Europe (above 40C) and the guests had been operating the air-conditioning continuously in all rooms over the first few days. As might be expected, two of four split system units failed under the continual load. Our local agent reported the failures to us in Australia, where we live. Our local agent relocated a portable AC unit and a fan to the living areas. Within 2 days thereafter, quotes had been sought and obtained and a full replacement of the air-conditioning system had been ordered from a local supplier. Within another 5 days, the system had been fully replaced at a cost of almost 5000 euros. We ask that our guests are respectful of the capacity and the running costs of air-conditioning.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR
Séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison, Lee était au petit soin et très gentille. La vue magnifique dès le petit déjeuner est inoubliable. Manquait juste le barbecue à notre séjour.. Adresse à retenir :)

Casa amplia y cómoda con una terraza fantástica
La casa es más bonita de lo que parece en las fotos. El salón es amplio, cómodo y luminoso. Tiene también un pequeño rincón con una mesa de comedor y 4 sillas. La cocina no es muy grande pero tiene todo lo necesario y una ventana con vistas al mar. (El frigorífico no enfría mucho y el lavavajillas no funcionaba durante nuestra estancia. Lo iban a arreglar pronto). El menaje es bastante completo y está en muy buen estado. Tres de los dormitorios tienen vistas al mar y uno de ellos, una terraza fantástica. El de la planta baja no tiene aire acondicionado y la tele no funciona. Es más básico, pero es muy espacioso también. Sin duda, lo mejor de la casa es la terraza, que no se aprecia bien en las fotos. Tiene una mesa grande con sillas y una barbacoa de gas. Las vistas de la bahía son preciosas, de día y de noche. Ahí hemos disfrutado muy buenos momentos tomando un vino y contemplando el mar. El inconveniente de la casa es que está lejos de la playa, no se puede ir andando. Es una zona tranquila y aconsejable para familias con niños, o adultos que no tengan planes de subir y bajar mucho a la playa. Nosotros, con 2 adolescentes, tuvimos que hacer el recorrido más veces de las que nos habría gustado. Pero en resumen, ¡la estancia ha sido muy agradable! Muchas gracias Greg and Lynn!

Family holiday
Had a lovely week in La Herradura - which was a great location to explore the Andalusian coast. The house was great for our two families, with the air conditioning providing a welcome respite from the heat. The balcony was a lovely space to eat together and admire the view, whilst the kids loved the communal pool at the end of the road. The house was a little further out of the town than we had imagined and our car was essential to go anywhere. Both Greg and lynne (the owners) and Scott (their representative who met us in La Herradura) where helpful and made the renting process easy. Thank you

Thanks Nuala for your review and we are pleased that you enjoyed our home in La Herradura, including the sensational views from the balconies and the spacious accomodations. Of course, since the house is located high up above the Bay of La Herradura, a car is also a necessary in return for the views. We are located just a few kilometres from town, where you will surely have enjoyed the many restaurants and beachside bars. We hope to welcome you back to La Herradura again soon! Great house, great area.

Buon rapporto prezzo/prestazioni casa spaziosa con vista spettacolare sul golfo
Per concedere la quinta stella ci sarebbe voluto un tavolo da 8 in terrazza per poter mangiare tutti insieme e qualche sistemata alle serrature dei bagni.
