âI need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesnât come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...
âThis Motel has a retro feel of the early 60's. it is clean, safe and comfortable. The pool area is the best we have encountered. We loved the big trees and the lovely lawn. I will definetely be back!â
âSo clean! And the bed was vertical comfortable. At first it was off putting that there were so many construction workers around, but the management of this hotel have very high standards. Not the regular place we stay at for a family trip, but great quality.â
âWe stayed in the cottage and loved it. Having a full kitchen was super convenient. Bed was comfy. If you have a large vehicle parking would be difficult and the road noise next the cottage are the only negatives. But we'll stay here again!â

OMG! It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The room is so beautiful. We felt like we were living in Harry Potter's house, minus where Harry really lived in.
Our only wish is that we can live in a place like this permanently.

âNot a whole lot to do in GV, but we stayed at the Holbrooke as my wife is a fan of anything paranormal. The hotel is immaculate, well-kept, and worth staying at. The only downside to GV is that everything closes early. 9 PM is the last call for dinner on a Friday night, and we ended up with pizza, which was very good. There are a few bars that stay open later. Funny thing, our room had an old radio on a table. After check-in, when we got to the room, I turned on a radio that was on a table and...
âThis is a great deal. If you need a clean place to stay the night in a safe area this is your choice. Very simple design with upgraded interior and has fridge and microwave. Basically two bedrooms to sleep in and bathroom /shower but perfect for what we needed coming in late. â
