“Honestly, we expected the hotel to be good, but it actually surpassed our expectations in pretty much every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the minute we walked in the door, but never fussy. We were able to just switch off and relax, but there was always someone around when we needed them. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fantastic and the wine from the vineyard was terrific. “The hotel is in a nice spot but the rooms are so-so, the bathrooms are ice cold and extremely humid. The shower leaked out over the floor, one of the two big towels had brown stains on it, and the water coming out of the shower was dark brown. After flushing the shower for some time we finally got it yellow but that was the best it got. The breakfast is ok but the coffee was horrific, not too weak or too strong, just had a really strange taste. One night was enough.”
