Hotell i Althorne

“Nice rustic place. Really good ”

“Very nice room, bed was a little short for me at over 6 foot tall, but not the end of the world. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area”

“Allt fungerade bra med undantag av iskallt rum. ”

“Ingen tillgänglig personal. Fick hämta en otrevlig personal i baren. DJ i baren på kvällen så musikdunket var hemskt när vi skulle lägga oss vid 23. ”

“Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...

“Checked into Room one, nice view over quay but as soon as I lay on bed headboard collapsed, went to have shower and shower not working, was allowed to use bathroom down the hall but not ideal. No remote for TV so couldn’t use that either. Wanted to say good stay but very poor.”

“Breakfast service didn’t start till 9am which was a bit late for our plans. Room was basic but clean”

“Perfekt läge för den som ej vill bo mitt i centrala stan. Kloss an havet med fina promenadstråk. Bussförbindelse in till stora staden Colchester. 30 min med bil. Fri parkering. Fantastiskt fin personal och service. Mysig pub/restaurang! Görgod paj i restaurangen.”

“Utmärkt och med air con, vilket behövdes i hettan(>30 grader) Charmigt och nyrenoverat! Rekommenderas!!”

“Second time I have stayed here, will be coming back again! Room lovely and clean. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and a good sized portion. Staff were very smiley, polite and helpful. They had also made arrangements so I could charge my vehicle too which was a bonus! Many thanks!”

“Very nice place in a beautiful village. Breakfast is excellent and all persons working there are so friendly The room we got was also very nice but very warm and the window could only be opened a bit… that is the only negative. Will come back!”
