  • Rymlig stuga i viktoriansk stil med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Söt veranda och stor bakre uteplats för utomhusliv. Privat, lugnt läge, men ändå långt ifrån restauranger, shopping och vinprovning i den historiska Amador City. Över 40 vingårdar ligger en kort bilresa bort.

    Halcyon House har funnits på en annan resesida i över ett år och varje gäst har gett oss fem stjärnor!

    Huset har en huvudvåning master med king size-säng och badrum. Andra våningen innehåller ett kung sovrum och en drottning, med andra bad. Båda sovrummen på övervåningen har sovsalar med dagbäddar, perfekta för barn eller en läsningskran. Köket är fullt möblerat med tallrikar, glas, bestick, kastruller, små apparater och kaffe, te, grädde och sötningsmedel.

    Verandan intill det lilla dammet är en plats för avkoppling utomhus. Stor privat rygg uteplats erbjuder lounge, matbord och grill. Propanbehållare och grillrengöring ingår. Låt mig veta om du har slut på någon av dem.

This was a wonderfully decorated home. Everything was provided in the kitchen to help in meal preparation. The owner was especially nice & very helpful. I couldn’t be happier with this rental.

Cosy house and very comfortable beds. Nice deck and patio for relaxation. Kitchen needed a few more pans, plates and cutlery to avoid using dishwasher so much and electric kettle rather than gas one supplied more convenient. We had three weeks here so these may not be issues for shorter stays. We had excellent communications with host as very helpful with requests. We hope to come again!

This was my 3rd time staying in this lovely home! We had a girls weekend and everything was perfect. The home is so cozy but spacious and it fit 6 of us no problem. There are just so many details that were thought of, it truly feels like a home away from home. It does not feel like a vacation rental. it is so clean and well maintained. I will come back again and again, it really is lovely. Thanks Marilee for another great stay!

Wine Country Weekend with Friends

Sweet and charming

This is a beautiful house and property. The kitchen is appointed with everything you might possibly need. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. The house is sparkling clean and decorated well. We loved everything about it and would love to visit again.

Adorable house

Our stay at the Halcyon house in Amador city was perfect. We were celebrating my 2 granddaughters who just turned 21. The location was perfect..close to wineries, hiking, shopping and rode the rail cars. We would definitely come back and stay in the Halcyon House again!

The house is absolutely beautiful—cozy, inviting, and perfect for unwinding or spending quality time with family. The kitchen is spacious, well‑equipped, and features a gas stove with plenty of cookware. That said, the nearby coffee shop offers delicious ready‑made meals and fresh‑baked bread, so cooking is completely optional.We also loved that there are two wine‑tasting spots within walking distance, and Sutter Creek is just a short drive away with plenty to explore. It rained during our stay, but we could easily imagine ourselves enjoying a glass of wine outdoors on a sunny day.The property itself is stunning, and I highly recommend it. There was a small hiccup when we arrived, but our host responded immediately and resolved everything right away. We’d love to come back again.

Halcyon House was one of the best places we've ever stayed through VRBO. Marilee has been responsive and helpful throughout the process.The location was perfect. It's an easy walk to the little city Amador, and a short drive to Sutter Creek. The house is clean, comfortable, and feels like a home without being fussy. We hope to be back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the back patio, but the front porch was lovely in afternoon sun.
