“We so enjoyed our stay! The house did not disappoint! Not only was it immaculate, it was decorated for Christmas. There were treats in the kitchen, a full hot cocoa bar and all the makings for a delicious cup of cider, tea or coffee. Although there is definitely a spooky ambiance, we did not experience anything out of the ordinary. 10 out 10; would stay again. Thank you Elsie, you were an amazing host!”

“For anyone who knows the history surrounding this part of the country, gold was discovered arounf 1849 and it changed thousands of peoples lives. So to actually live in a real miners house, well you couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you Gorden for keeping history alive. By the way the bathroom is unbelievable, hats off to you!”

“This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊”

“Quail Meadows Ranch exceeded our expectations! The house and property were stunning. There was so much to do and see. We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. “This property is Nostalgically charming, being of a certain age the decor and style of this home took me directly back to childhood. Views are breathtaking and the spacing in the home gives the independence and comfort that’s required when traveling with family or friends. “Stay was very nice . Owner communicated excellent and very nice and informative. Only thing I feel people should know you miss be comfortable skilled driver to stay at this home . The drive at night is super dark on winding narrow dark mountainous roads . But once there - beautiful view . Home is clean . No tvs in bedrooms but comfy and clean . “Apple's Chalet was a wonder place for us to stay for my wife's birthday. She wanted snow and she got it! We absolutely loved the charm, and really appreciated that everything was labeled. Lots of blankets for cold weather and all the floors heated up nicely. Plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out. We asked for an extra day because of the snow and they even snow plowed the driveway so we could get out once it's stopped snowing. We want to come back in the spring or summer!”

“It was incredible! Such a great spot. I brought my two dogs and they were in absolute heaven. So much room to run and they loved going down to the river. It was a little windy and the neighbor came to check on me. He made sure the roads were clear so I could get in and out. Super sweet! I will definitely be going back!”
