Carmelina Holiday Home – Amalfi Town Centre



Welcome to Carmelina, a beautifully renovated holiday home set right in the heart of Amalfi. Freshly decorated and immaculately kept, this charming retreat offers an authentic stay just steps away from restaurants, bars, cafés, historic churches, and the lively streets of the Amalfi Coast.



Please note: Carmelina is best suited for young couples or active travelers, as both the town and the home involve stairs. From the town centre, about 100 steps lead you to the property, and inside you’ll find three levels connected by stairways. The spaces are cozy and thoughtfully designed, but not large. If you are comfortable with climbing, the rewards are unforgettable.



Inside the Home



Ground Floor: A bright living and dining area opens onto a balcony overlooking Amalfi. Here you’ll also find a full bathroom with a spacious enclosed shower. The kitchenette, though compact, is fully equipped with everything you need: cookware, crockery, fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, Italian moka coffee maker, and a Nespresso machine (capsules not provided).



First Floor: The romantic double bedroom includes a small balcony with wonderful town views, plus an en-suite with a toilet and sink.



Rooftop Level: The highlight of Carmelina—a panoramic roof terrace. Enjoy al fresco meals at the dining table, refresh yourself in the beautiful outdoor shower decorated with local blue tiles, or prepare light dishes in the mini-kitchen (two-burner gas stove, fridge). This level is perfect if you prefer to spend your days relaxing above Amalfi’s rooftops.



Location



Carmelina’s location is unbeatable—right in the centre of Amalfi. Stroll to trattorias, pizzerias, gelato shops, and historic landmarks within minutes. From here, you can also take ferries and buses to nearby gems like Positano and Ravello. Naples and Salerno airports are about 90 minutes away, with Salerno being the most convenient option for train connections.



Good to Know



Due to the many stairs, Carmelina is not suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues.



Parking is not available, and driving in Amalfi can be difficult and expensive. We recommend public transportation or a private car service.
