"We had a very pleasurable stay, and were enough to have the house all to ourselves for the majority of the nights we stayed there. The staff is very friendly, helpful and service-minded. Be mindful that there is no dinner served/offered, but there's a cosy place a short walk up in the village of Marmelal."

"The view from this hotel is truly spectacular and without a doubt deserves five stars. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to its advertised four-star standard. The property feels dated and worn, with several areas in need of renovation. The breakfast and restaurant offerings were disappointing, lacking both variety and quality. Service was also very inconsistent—some staff members were friendly and attentive, while others seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Overall, if you’re looking for an unforgettable view, this hotel certainly delivers. However, apart from the scenery, the overall experience felt much closer to a three-star hotel than a four-star one."
