Denna stuga har fantastisk utsikt över Loughrigg, mot Coniston Old Man. Du går in i den varma loungen, den har en sydvästra aspekt. Bågfönstret har spektakulär utsikt och ett matbord för sex personer att njuta av allt från. Det är 2 minuters promenad från Ambleside centrum: du behöver inte ta bilen. Ha en aperitif ute på trädgården och gå ner till en av de många restaurangerna, kaféer och barer i närheten. Det finns ett välutrustat kök med pentry, 3 sovrum, ett modernt badrum med dusch och toalett, centralvärme och levande eld. Den perfekta basen för en Lake District-semester.

Cottage with a view

The lovely view from the lounge/diner makes the property, which was very well equipped and very well located in relation to the village centre and its many restaurants and shops. Our stay was enhanced by some really exceptional weather.

Great Cottage

Perfect spot for our stay in Ambleside. The view is amazing and it's a short walk to town. Will definitely look at staying here again when we return to the lakes.

No problems with parking and allocated space outside of property. Wi-fi reliable although we were mostly out and about.Property clean throughout. Best feature was the location for us. Just a 5 min stroll into town for pubs, shops and cafes and also benefits from great walks being available from doorstep.

The accommodation was just as described and comfortably big enough for the 4 of us. Was great to be able to walk from the house onto the fells, to the lake and to the town. Lovely views as well.

Blue Hill Cottage

Great base for the Southern Lakes

Such a comfortable place to stay, within walking distance of the many pubs and restaurants in Ambleside. And on the doorstep of so many great walks. Fantastic views and heaps of games and DVDs in case of a rainy day!

Lovely property in great location

We had a fantastic stay in Ambleside, largely due to the location of this property. A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. A little difficult to find in the first place but once we located it, all was good! Thank you!

February Half Term in Ambleside

We had a great week, the house has masses going for it, the view is great, it’s really convenient to pop into Ambleside but far enough away so it’s quiet. The beds are comfy, the house is warm and inviting, it has pretty much everything you need to be a home away from home. Thankyou

This is a well located cottage with a lovely view. The parking space was convenient.The house was clean ,wi fi worked and beds were comfy. The stairs to the top floor are very steep especially with luggage and the shower had low pressure. Overall a lovely stay. Overall a lovely

Amazing views and so close to Ambleside centre. This place is great. We are a family of 5 and the cottage was perfect for us. Very well equiped. We had everything we needed. Linda the host was extemely helpful and we will absolutely be returning.

Excellent Location

Fantastic cosy base for our short stay. Great view, feels like a world away from civilisation but less than a five minute walk to Ambleside town centre. Five minutes in the opposite direction and we were onto the fells. Our host Linda was very helpful throughout.

Nice cottage with splendid view

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderfull cottage. From the first moment we felt at home. During our meals we could admire the view over the hills that surround the lakes. In the end we felt sorry to leave this wonderfull place. We also enjoyed the dvd's, books and hiking maps available.

Great property and location

Really good cottage only about 2 mins walk from centre of Ambleside. Had everything you need for a nice simple stay in the lakes. Great views from the front room over the hills. They’ve just had a car parking space put in which is very handy. Great communication with owner throughout. Would definitely come back.
