Not the best choice
The place in general is ok. Located in nice location. A way for the mess in city center. The room was as well ok. I was hopping for an AC!! It was so hot when i was in AMS and there was no AC!! Common 4 stars hotel which was sooo expensive and no AC!!!! Even the bathroom was missing ventilation!! I was really expecting them to have a better amenities. I was in the second floor and you can hear everything. You hear everyone passing by and the minimum noise we heard. It was terrible for us as we are very light sleeper to be honest I will never stay there again because it is not worth the money at all! 300 eur per night for this!!!! No thank you.

Perfekt placering av ett hotell. Man är ej mitt i staden bland allt brus och stök men fortfarande nära nog att kunna ta en promenad in eller spårvagnen på 6-8 minuter. Jättetrevlig personal och god frukost. Obs: uber eats hittar hit! Kan absolut se mig återkomma till detta hotell nästa resa till vackra Amsterdam. Tips: Artis zoo var en riktig höjdpunkt!

On spot!
Servicen var fantastisk! Abdi som tog emot oss men även en annan manlig personal som jobbade i receptionen. Båda såg verkligen till att vår vistelse var över förväntan. Hotellet var jättefint och rent. Läget var bra då det var nära centrum men ändå i ett lugnt område. Vi rekommenderar Lancaster och skulle gärna komma dit igen.

Avslutning i amsterdam
Hjälpsam personal som gav tips om mycket och även hjälpte till att boka aktiviteter. Mycket bra frukost. Badrummet var oerhört litet. man fick knappt plats där.

Trivsamt hotell
Har bott många gånger på Lancaster, både före och efter renoveringen, standarden har blivit mycket bättre. Trivsamt hotell som har ett bra läge.

Bra läge på hotell, dock otroligt lyhört och luktade illa på toaletterna. Dåligt tryck i duschen. Bra service och lättingänlig hotellbar.

Sketchy behavior ruins a nice stay
Prequel story: Our flight to Amsterdam was delayed by one day. Called the reception to adjust the booking. Was told that as long as there was an empty room left, we could move the booking without any charge. Unfortunately, no rooms were available. When we get there, there's a room available. For full charge, of course. Either way, we payed for the extra day so we could stay at the same hotel the entire trip. On the second last day, just before we were heading out, the cleaning lady came in and told us that the room was supposed to be empty. Long story short, they charged us for the extra night but never actually changed the booking, so we were about to have all of our stuff thrown out because of this. We went to talk with the staff who then fixed it, but this shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. Nice place in every way except for this.

Dear J, I am sorry to hear about your experiences. From your review I can not see if your booking was a non refundable booking. In this case the conditions are that a booking can not be changed not cancelled. The hotel has a busy period so I am glad we were able to offer you a room. From this review I can not see anything from your booking so I can not see what happened during your stay. Just to reassure you, we never throw our guests out. If we see that there is still luggage unpacked, housekeeping will inform the reception and we try to contact the guests or the booking agency to get in contact and find a solution if necessary. Helt ok medelhotell med gångavstånd till stan (ca 1.5 km). Vårt rum var på tredje våningen med utsikt över en innergård. Hiss, mörkläggningsgardiner finns.

Overall good stay. Clean room, great service with really helpful staff. Only negative points were toilet in such a bad position that you could not sit on it straight as no room and shower leaked into main bathroom floor a little.

Generally in a good area where you can walk to things. Rooms are itty bitty but pretty clean. Rough entry with several stairs before you can get to a floor with an elevator.

Relativ ruhige Lage an der Zentrumsgenze und trotzdem fußläufig alles erreichbar. Ein für Amsterdam noch erschwinglicher Zimmerpreis. Zimmer vernünftig eingerichtet und das Bett sehr bequem. Frühstück nicht opulent, aber alles da was man braucht.

Had a great stay! Quiet, clean, comfortable beds and a nice breakfast buffet. We were prepared for a small room and small bathroom and it was fine for us. The space was well designed for the square footage. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Room was a newly renovated room was ok, staff was friendly and helpful but the hotel was half hr walk to the dam square and half hr walk to canal cruise near hard rock cafe!! Yes there was a tram right outside but thought was in good walking distance not all of us drive everywhere!! Was told my air conditioning wasnt working yet due to renovation didnt think i needed it but was warm in room opened window and all u could hear was the trams!!!

Everything is within 20 mins walk, and some lovely breakfast places nearby. Overall for the price and rating of the hotel it is very overrated. The bed was uncomfortable, rooms very air dry and the bed sheets were stained. Cannot comment on staff as had limited interaction but was greeted in a friendly manner.

Wir hatten ein Superior King Zimmer gebucht( die beste Kategorie des Hotels). Als Zimmer wurde uns ein kleines Zimmer im Dachgeschoß mit ausladender Schräge zugewiesen, bei der man nur gebückt aus dem Bett hätte aufstehen können und das nicht den Bildern entsprach. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin bekamen wir dann ein Zimmer im 1. Stock, das erheblich größer war mit separatem WC, leider ohne Handwaschbecken. Hier war das einzige weitere Manko relativ laute Straßengeräusche. Die Anbindung an die Straßenbahn Richtung Zentrum ist gut, auch das Frühstücksbuffet lecker zu einem fairen Preis mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

Looking at the time room, viewing this hotel looks very nice, seeing and staying I found sizeable of this room very small not much space, very compet. It's fine for single person not for couples. I wouldn't recommend to sizeable I found it's bit expensive.
