You did not face such a problem yourself or even the guest that mentioned that. We do follow a very strict protocol concerning bed bugs, as it is now a worldwide problem and we have frequent pest control treatments by professionals. Dear Sir, We are happy to see you enjoyed staying with us! Sorry for your feeling about the security deposit. The deposit amount is €50 per person and is irrelevant to the room rate. Room rate is vary due to many factors but the room value and possible damage value to the room is always the same. I hope you understand.

Dear Samuele, we are sorry to see our hotel did not meet your expectations. However, we are a smoking hotel. Smoking is allowed in certain rooms, but certainly not in the corridors or common areas. In any case, we are in the heart of Amsterdam and noise can be sometimes expected.

Dear Maria Jose, thank you for your review. The building of the hotel is a monument and we never advertised there is an elevator in the hotel. Unfortunately, this is the case in most of the buildings in the centre of Amsterdam. Furthermore, your bathroom was external but this was the room you booked. We do have other rooms with private bathroom inside the room and you can choose one of those the next time. Thank you!

Dear Guest, I am sorry to acknowledge you have not had a good experience at our hotel. However, I would like to point out few things: 1. Every hotel in Amsterdam has stairs. It's old city with old buildings and these are the characters of the buildings here. We also do not mention to have an elevator. 2. We require a security deposit from every guest like many other properties in the city. This is mentioned few times during the booking process and therefore, we expect bookers to agree on that. 3. If you want to checkout later than 11:00am (Standard checkout time in every busy city like Amsterdam) you need to pay extra. We cannot let people to checkout whenever they want, because we will not be able to clean and deliver the rooms to the next guests in time as well. 4. Once you checkout and got your security deposit back, you are not entitled to go back to the room anywhere in the world. I hope you understand that. We have public toilets and I am sure you could use those. I hope you will have a better experience in other hotel, but if you keep your expectations as mentioned in your claim I am afraid you will suffer the same disappointment. in every hotel.
