An okey hostel if coffee quality is unimportant
This hostel is located just 8-10 minutes walk+ferry ride northeast of the Central station. To get there by foot you take a free-of-charge ferries right at the Central station, then it is some 3-4 minute walk to the hostel. The frequent ferries run 24/7, so waiting time is really short. At the hostel I had a room with modern and clean WC and shower in the room. If you want new towels, you have to get it yourself at the reception. No bed making or so, due to it being a hostel I guess. I never went to the bar etc, so I can comment on that. The breakfast, that I paid EUR 6,50 (or so) extra for was not really up to what I would like to see for breakfast. And the coffee was terrible, sorry to say. You stand in line and pick what you want on a tray, I guess that is ok. But the first morning, there was a school class ahead of me. Learned to avoid breakfast at 7:30 am after that. The "personnel" I had anything to do with - in the reception and at breakfast - was very nice and kind. No complaints there. The closeness to the city of Amsterdam of course makes the location attractive. In summary: my four nights stay was okey, but the morning coffee needs to improve for me to ever go back again.

We’re sorry that the breakfast menu did not match your expectations. But you can always become aware of the menu at the reception desk before to order it. We're also sorry to hear that the coffee at the breakfast was not to your liking. Next time you may try coffee in our Catalyst cafe on the ground floor. Our cafe team will make a great coffee for you by hand with a lot of love. We hope you will come back one day to try it out!

Trevlig vandrarhem
Rent, trevlig personal. Hög ljudnivå på visa partygäster, ta med öronproppar om du är lättväckt. Smidigt att ta färjan över till vandrarhemmet.

Värd pengarna men smutsig dusch
Delade ett 12-mannarum med en vän i 4 nätter. Ett tips är att ha öronproppar då det kan vara störande med snarkningar eller folk som kommer in/lämnar rummet när som helst. Vistelsen var väl värd pengarna men de gemensamma duscharna saknade golvskrapa och blev väldigt blöta och smutsiga trots att de rengjordes varje dag. Även toaletterna blev snabbt smutsigt...

Backpacker-ställe. Välstädat, men väldigt spartanskt rum. Ok om man bara behöver någonstans att bo en natt och inte vill lägga pengarna på dyrt hotell. Gratis färja från centralstation gör att man snabbt kommer till hotellet även fast det ligger utanför stadskärnan.

Modern trevligt vandrarhem. Trevliga rum och väldigt tyst. Lite för hårda sängar. Rumen behöver utrustas mer med hyllor och krokar i rum och badrum.

It's a hostel, every evening the local students come by for entertainment and socializing. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the shower. It's not enclosed enough, so half of the floor is wet after showering. Other than that, Clink Noord is convenient and a nice place to stay.

It was a very average stay ! Clean enough, decent enough amenities. The breakfast staff were far friendlier than the front desk staff . I was on the third floor, in an all female dorm, and it was very quiet . The place seemed a bit older than I originally thought , but it was mostly ok . Pillow very flat . Bed not super comfy. Check in at four, but my room wasn’t ready until almost 5. Don’t buy the breakfast buffet, not worth it. Super close to the ferry which brings you to centraal. Felt safe walking alone at night.

Laundry system is horrible. It is connected to a Wifi. And whenever the Wifi goes down the staff runs around like chicken without heads. These humans need to be smarter than a dumb laundry machine. I strongly suggest the management to make things simple for the laundry. No need to go to a hi tech remote controlled system for a such a simple task of washing clothes. The old days coin operated machines were much more efficient than these hi tech gizmos which the mangement has installed

I got the room 2 hours later than the actual check in. Staff told that the room was still not cleaned and was occupied. Should be more stringent in ensuring times since I was very tired and wanted to rest.

There are sufficient staff in front desk from early morning to later night. They are very friendly. The location is perfect. It’s just about 10 to 15 minutes getting to Amsterdam Centraal by ferry, and it’s free.the kitchen is too busy to find oven, pans for cooking or warm food 6 to 9pm. However the breakfast time is very quiet and relaxing. Overall, I enjoyed my five days at NOORD.

My first ever hostel experience and it was truly one to remember. Really clean facilities and friendly staff. Brilliant social atmosphere and is within walking distance to the station and public transport.

Ottima esperienza
Prima esperienza in ostello, estremamente positiva. Primo punto a favore è la posizione: la struttura si trova nella zona nord di Amsterdam, e si può facilmente raggiungere dalla Stazione Centrale, con un traghetto gratuito attivo 24 ore su 24, e la vicinanza alla Stazione è ottima per avere i mezzi a portata di mano. Pulizia molto buona, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Essendo che ero in un dormitorio misto da 6, si sono avvicendate molte persone nella stanza, ma sono state tutte molto serie e cordiali, ennesimo punto a favore per la struttura. Impressione generale molto positiva

Not worth it for the price. Cool hostel with great facilities, clean, safe, great location across from the station, but overpriced. Might as well stay in a hotel and at least get hand soap and towels for this kind of money. It’s a great last minute option, but definitely make sure you can’t find anywhere else that’ll give you a bit more support for the same price.

Right by the (free) ferry that takes you right towards central station and the main part of the city. Food is delicious and the drinks were lovely. They always have something going on every evening (karaoke, cocktail classes, movie nights) and the atmosphere is so energetic. I will definetly be staying here when I visit again in the fututre. Made lots of friends and had a wonderful time.

Last-minute booking for a very busy Dutch Grand Prix weekend - loved the close location to Centraal, just a quick ferry ride and 3mins walk from hostel. We booked a private double room, which was OK (though massively overpriced for what you get) - only problem is the shower, which regularly flooded the entire bathroom. Didn't make use of the common areas due to busy schedule, but looks like a fun place for young travelers.

Good room, good sleep.
The hostel was really good compare to the one I stayed in London. The room with the ensuite shower and toilet was really clean. The bed was comfy. I had a good sleep.
