Värsta upplevelsen av både hotellet och Hotels.com. Hotellet är gammalt och ofräscht med slitna möbler och byggprojekt i området. Receptionisterna var okunniga och otrevliga. Våra rumsnycklar fungerade inte vid ett enda tillfälle och vi fick ringa till personalen varje gång, som i sin tur svarar att vi får komma ner och hämta nya nycklar. Badrumsdörren saknade lås och gick inte att stänga. AC fungerade inte och mattorna var smutsiga. Jag hade bett hotellet flera veckor i förväg att ordna med en överraskning med bubbel och dekoration då vi skulle fira vår årsdag och fått bekräftat att detta skulle ordnas. Sjävklart hade ingenting ordnats. Enda fördelen är läget.

En mycket trevlig och behaglig vistelse
Rum med mycket utrymme i en mer klassisk stil som behagade mig och min vän. Rummen välisolerade. Personalen tillmötesgående och väldigt proffsiga. Wellness eller spa avdelningen helt OK. I det stora hela var upplevelsen mycket behaglig och skulle vi vara i trakterna igen ska vi självklart försöka bo på samma hotell igen.

Varierande service
Otroligt charmigt hotell med intressant historia. Några detaljer dock som drar ner betyget. Servicegraden och kunskapsnivån bland personalen var väldigt blandad. Incheckning och receptionens personal får högsta betyg! Personalen i bar och restaurang däremot var långsamma, mer intresserade av att prata med varandra än att ta hand om sina gäster och absolut inte serviceminded. När jag försökte skriva upp notan på rummet hävdade de att det inte gick. Men när de sedan hämtade personal från receptionen så gick det alldeles utmärkt! Så, sover gärna här, men äter någon annanstans. Frukosten däremot var väldigt bra, riklig och god!

Old school och mycket bra!
Mycket trevligt old school-hotell med charm. Rummet var jättetrevligt med både badkar och dusch (älskar badkar) och sängen var bland det absolut bästa jag sovit i! Läget mitt i stan och nära till centralstation = optimalt för mig.

För att vara ett 5 stjärningt hotell så håller det verkligen inte den standarden. Ett 5 stjärningt hotell som endast har Pizza till Roomservice är väldigt underligt. Annars helt ok hotell men för dyrt med tanke på det är 4 stjärnig standard.

Amazing staff and great location! Only issue was the curtains in room would open or closed on their own without touching the remote. Getting to the room at first was difficult due to so many different doors and hallways you had to take after check-in. Love the creepiness of the hotel though felt like I was on an episode of AHS! Overall good stay!

This hotel is missing a lot of basic amenities and has serious issues caring for the guests. There are questionable practices and bad things about the hotel. We would have moved to a different hotel if it wouldn't have been so inconvenient and most likely more expensive. The staff does not have much desire to resolve issues. Trying to check-in a couple hours early, they said the only way was to pay for an upgrade or just wait for our room to be ready. Then a different staff member chatted with reception and got us into a room that was ready without having to pay an upgrade. Why were we waiting for our room to be ready if there were rooms available? Why did they tell us early check-in requires an upgrade if it really doesn't? It seemed very shady, trying to trick us into paying for an upgrade. Our bed was missing sheets and the mattress pad was covered in hard, pointy balls of lint/fabric that made it very uncomfortable. They would not replace the mattress pad even though we asked. The minibar has glass bottles, but the staff would not or could not get us a bottle opener. We asked for days for a bottle opener with nobody bringing us one, until one staff member let us borrow their personal opener. Then the cleaning crew stole that bottle opener. A free minibar is not an amenity if you cannot use it. The building is historic so they cannot install AC. The windows could also not be opened more than a crack. The rooms are hot, stuffy, uncomfortable. We did not sleep well.

Three blocks away from the train station. The hotel looks unusual on the outside and is like a maze. Rooms are huge with high ceilings. They have a small fridge and Nespresso coffee maker.

Being the old shipping house, this hotel has an usual layout. Very nice restaurant and bar (food was very good) and the staff were all wonderful. Wendy and Vasiliki at the front desk and Dale and Bowie at the bar, who managed things very well when it was super busy. A few of the canal from my room was a bonus and it's a very short walk to central station.

We were in a room that was way too hot and no way to cool it down. They opened the old windows but with heavy curtains no air came in. I'd curtains were open- it was bright light and incoming views from other rooms. The hotel is a maze and I'm seriously glad there wasn't a fire- would have never gotten out.

loved the old building and charm it had many really good employee's Mabinci really stood out in the restaurant and how great she was with my 4y old. there were some cleanliness issues with the tub and electrical problems with the curtains. If you want to charge your phone or run a sound machine you cannot just unplug your room it takes all electricity off.

Sehr freundliches Personal, super Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof und in der Innenstadt. Guter Spabereich. Essen sehr teuer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug, was sehr laute Geräusche gemacht hat, auch nachts. Sonst alles super und empfehlenswert
