âAbsolutely enjoyed staying at Dar Mayshad. The place is gorgeous, historical and very tastefully decorated. The staff are very polite and hospitable and breakfast is great. The location in the old Medina makes the walk to the hotel a wonderful experience. â
âKalaa is a very nice riad, with two things that makes the difference: 1) The little rooftop pool is just a perfect place to relax and cool you down in a hot day 2) Their restaurant serves fantastic Moroccan food. Otherwise the rooms are quite expensive compared to other riads since they try to make this more like a real hotel (with minibar, aircondition, espresso machine, TV/DVD, etc), but in my personal opinion those things are not really worth the extra price you pay. âThis is not 5 star luxury accommodations. But as a single traveler looking for a nice clean quiet room with excellent service, it canât be beat. It is more traditional with local charm. The kind of hotel locals would use. Iâll definitely visit again if Iâm back.â
