Great stay in quite area

Very clean space in a beautiful and quiet area, right along a golf course. Random deer all over that are clearly comfortable with all of the people around. Very cool! Close drive to Murphy's and local wineries. Plenty of towels, bed is comfortable and space feels welcoming. Only things I would ask to be changed are adding curtains or blinds to the door and bathroom window, a different TV cabinet as it is hard to see unless you are right in front of it, cleaning the pool for guests and maybe supplying a bit more coffee. There is little to no privacy. Anyone on the front porch will have a full view in to the bathroom, living room and bedroom. The house is elevated and tree coverage does help block views in from a distance. The pool is amazing, just needs to be cleared of debris. Had to do this myself. Even with the minor issues, we would for sure stay here again!

Wonderful little cottage!

We truly had the most wonderful experience staying at this property. Very well maintained, stocked and furnished little cottage in affluent neighborhoods with divine views out from the pool area looking over the golf course and lake Malones. The check in and out process was effortless and the owners are beyond kind and accommodating. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the porch and pool a bit more. I also would like to mention that prior reviewers mentioned lack of refrigerator in the cottage but this has since been addressed and we found quite a spacious mini refrigerator and freezer located in the walk in closet. The owners were kind enough to stock the fridge with some refreshments as well. Can’t say enough nice things about our experience and we hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for hosting us! Lejla

Italian-Style Cottage

Drapped in "old world" Italian charm, this one bedroom cottage is all you need to rest easy and get away from the hectic pace of day to day. The room and adjacent living area was clean, bright, and comfortable. I enjoyed a warm night on the spacious front porch watching 2 deer get an after dinner snack from the manicured yard (much to the owners dismay I'm sure). Very nice location in a fantastic neighborhood. Only draw back was no kitchen; however, there is a mini size fridge with a freezer for your use. The pool offered a nice way to enjoy the evening after a day of site seeing in Calaveras Big Trees State Park and many of the other beautiful places in close proximity to this rental. I'd recommend it to any couple or single renter! The cost is comparable to hotel rooms in the area, but a way better value!

Great little cottage for 2 people

My wife and I stayed over New Years holidays. Perfect for 2 of us. Great location. Easy to walk around or jump in the car if you want to go into town or up the road to Murphy's. I will definitely stay their again !

Quiet, clean, and beautiful
