People are so friendly in this place. They were very helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very close to the train station to go anywhere in Rome. Food was good. I recommend this place very highly.

Made us feel like family
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The service really went above and beyond, we felt like family. We had an 18 day trip and the 2 days we spent here were the most pleasant!!

Great stay at Hotel Massimino
This hotel is a convenient walk from the train station. It's very easy to get to Anguillara Sabazio, centro storico, via bus that picks up just outside of the hotel.

What a find! A great hotel with amazing service
We chose this hotel because we were en route from Cirque terre down to Amalfi. We stayed here just for the one night but wish we could have stayed longer! We were a family of 4 and we stayed in the family suite. It was perfect! We had two bedrooms with a little sitting area in between with a kitchenette. The room was spotless and very inviting. The staff, they were probably the friendliest that we had on our 5 week tour of Italy.They went out of their way to see we were Ok and chatted to us about Australia. We had dinner that night at the hotel and it was superb! Breakfast the next morning was also great. Next time in Italy I think we will stay in this hotel a little longer and explore the area. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for your great hospitality and an extra thank you for the olive oil that we received as a gift. We will be back.

Friendly staff
Hotel is on the main road into Anguillara (but not really within walking distance to the lake). Adequate free parking at the front and also a bus stop close by. Rooms very spacious and clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was continental style but sufficient and very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel experience
Our two-night stay at this hotel was absolutely great! Although most of the staff did not speak English, we were greeted like family from the start and the service and hospitality made us feel welcome during our entire visit. One of the family members, David, spoke English well and was extremely helpful in making our visit to Anguillara one of the best vacations we have had. Overall, the experience was fantastic. We will always remember our pleasant stay at this hotel.

Great Hotel stay outside of Rome
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were looking for a hotel outside of Rome as we were traveling by car and did not want to fight the traffic in Rome. The hotel was located within 5 minutes of the train station that took us to Rome for 6 Euros, that included unlimited travel on the train and the busses in Rome. The staff at the hotel were the owners and their family and they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We were met in the underground parking lot where we were assisted with our luggage and given an orientation of our room, including English TV channels. We were given great instructions on purchasing the train tickets as well as informtion on the time schedules for both the train and busses in Rome. The rooms were large, basic and clean. The hotel also contained a nice restaurant where the food and prices and especially the service were terrific. Underground car parking and wifi were free. If you want to stay outside of Rome in a nice location or to visit the area, then I suggest this hotel especially because of the service.

Great stay at Massimino
My mother and I stayed at Massimino for four nights in the middle of July 2011. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and had aircondition, and an okay breakfast was included. The hotel is located close to Anguillara station where trains depart for Rome every half hour. It takes about 35 minutes to get to Rome and you can buy a ticket that lasts till midnight in a Tabacchi store close to the hotel. FYI the trains from Rome to Anguillara stops departing at 9.30 PM. If you want to stay in a nice and quiet, family run hotel Massisimino is a great choice. However, you should be prepared that only one or two staff members speak English ;)
