Hotell i Animas River District

“The location of the hotel is its biggest selling point. We were just steps from the Animas River and the adjacent bike and walking path. Main Street is just a five minute walk away. The lobby and dining room have a kind of grand charm. I don’t know when the hotel was built, but it has a historic feel to it. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, but was a little dated in terms of furnishings. The staff was excellent. We ate breakfast each morning in the restaurant and enjoyed the...

“Comfy, clean and everything you expect from a Marriott. Very convenient to Durango downtown.”

“The location is excellent, just 2 blocks from the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway. And it is at the south end of the historic downtown. Parking is tight, but we always managed to find a place. We did not try their breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. It rained a lot (Hurricane Polo) just prior to and during our stay. That may be the reason our ground level room smelled musty. It could have used a refresh too.”

“Clean, convenient to downtown Durango, hot breakfast buffet. Did not like paper plates and plastic silverware.”

“This property was so clean and the staff (Doug) was so accommodating. Out of our 10 day trip this was the best hotel we stayed at. They recommended restaurants for us as well as treated us like they cared. Breakfast was very good and parking was free. Highly recommend.”

“Everything was great”

“Beautiful place to stay with or without family, close to amenities like restaurants”

“All Was well!”

“A good stay for a night or two, classic Motel-style. ”
