“The staff were friendly and the motel had a real small town feeling. It is a little bit old but you can tell they are working on improvement. A great location to stay to see this side of Nova Scotia.”
“Pros- staff. Location, room was spacious and updated, onsite restaurant was very nice, walkable to the unesco visiting site
Cons- asked to set a time for breakfast cannot just show up, limited breakfast menu centered around scone and yogurt, no outside fire pit which would have been nice with their outdoor seating, our room had a fireplace but it was not usable but would have been nice for the chilly evenings”
“I feel the price for the space was outrageous.This is the 5th visit to Wolfville and I have paid similarly for much more space & better accommodations. Clearly, on me for leaving it a little late to book, but I'll never stay in this "room" againThe bathroom was unclean, has black mould, the pink shams on the bed are stained, no space to hang clothing. The matress is uncomfortable and I could go on but won't. ”
“The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!”
“We loved that it was right on the water and we could fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The house if very rustic but cozy. We liked that there were more than one washroom and the sink was separate, so for our party of 8, it was perfect that some could shower while others brushed their teeth. It quite far from all main attractions in the area, the it is a beautiful quiet place. It was convenient to have the Lobster Pound right by the place. Overall a great stay.
