"We were very disappointed that the pool was closed during our stay. The staff were extremely inflexible about allowing children into the spa even for a short time, which meant we couldn’t enjoy any swimming. I specifically booked this hotel because of the pool, as it is a central feature on your website. I traveled all the way to the spa solely for the pool, and it would have been very helpful if it had been clearly indicated that the pool was closed—there was no notice or text about this. We asked if anything could be done to allow our child to swim at a time when there were no other guests, but nothing could be arranged. The hotel itself was unremarkable. Breakfast was very average, and the balconies were extremely close together. There was a couple next to us smoking and drinking wine, which made it uncomfortable to sit there with our child, especially with a view of the closed pool. Overall, we will not return and are unlikely to recommend this hotel, unless staying in Arranjues is unavoidable. We also visited the hotel to check it out in preparation for an upcoming wedding. However, after our experience, staying here is completely out of the question. "
