“There were a lot of mixed reviews that made me uncertain what to expect, but thankfully we were super pleased with our stay! The coordinates are a bit off but if you follow the instructions and look out for the tipis along the road, it's fairly easy to find. The tents were clean, nicely furnished and the bed was insanely comfortable. We were warm and cozy despite cold temperatures over night. The restrooms (camping style toilets) were clean and while i didn't have a shower the water pressure...

“The only problem I have with this property is it says it has a laundry but it isn’t on the property it is down the road about half a mile at the gas station. ”

“The Padre is a nice, basic motel. The Padre’s proprietor, Charles, was very friendly and helpful. He responded to our needs quickly. This hotel is an older building but well maintained and clean. Escalante is a tiny town. You can walk to the few restaurants along Main Street. The Escalante National Monument is just 10 minutes down the million dollar highway, and that is amazing to experience.”

“Fantastic place, the room was spacious and very well furnished, great thought had gone into every single detail, from the extra towels, to the snacks and breakfast ingredients, to the stain remover, it was just a pleasure to be here. I hope to come back sometime and book a massage with Emily, the owner who is a massage therapist. Highly, highly recommend!”
