Appin Bay View is an outstanding B&B.

Wonderful location with unique views of Castle Stalker right from the room and at breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and stylish, breakfast excellent. Mike, the host, is extremely helpful – even arranging dinner reservations when everything seemed booked out. Perfectly located for trips to Oban and Glencoe. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking Views and charming host

Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I agree it’s the most beautiful place we have ever visited. Our host and the guest house made it perfect. We had the honeymoon suite with a huge bathroom, a tub where you can lay and watch stars through a skylight. And stars there are more than i have ever seen because the place is quite remote and far from any city lights. We plan to return.

This place was amazing. Everything was top notch. Mike even made dinner reservations for us the day we arrived. Mike really knew how to make us feel special. When I fussed about not meeting his dogs they came bounding in for a quick hello. Would go back in a heartbeat. Oh, and the view was amazing.

Our host Michael was charming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The accommodationn was fantastic with spectular views over the loch. The room was big, as was the onsuite, and there were great touches e.g. a cafetiere with coffee, supplied free, each morning. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked abd yummy. We will definitley saty again.

Loved it !!

Fantastic host , beautiful room with awesome views.Mike was a fantastic host ,very helpful Once settled in he appeared with bottle of beer for my partner and a glass of prosecco for me,and If that wasn't enough two scrumptious cakes waiting to be devoured. Mike goes above and beyond what you expect from a guest house. The room was immaculate there was a choice of teas and fresh coffee.and the bed was super comfy.Fantastic breakfast I could go on ,but I suggest you try it for yourselves .

Mike, our host, was wonderful. The room was amazing! It was large, comfortable, and had a gorgeous view of Appin Bay. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had an amazing weekend at Appin Bay View, we stayed in the Eyrie and could not fault a single thing, Mike was great with us throughout, arranging taxis and restaurant bookings for us, I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Superb views, great hosting, lovely stay..

A beautiful room with an amazing view across to Castle Stalker (Monty Python fans will recognise it!) which can be admired from the balcony. Great walks nearby and it is possible to get right onto the shoreline in a matter of minutes. Fabulous breakfast (with a wonderful Asian option which as absolutely delicious!) but no evening meal. This was no problem at all as there are wonderful eateries within a short distance - but we opted to visit a local smokehouse and bring back food to picnic at our balcony table whilst watching the sun set. A relaxing stay with a thoughtful host - we will be back!..

Excellent stay

Superb host. Fantastic setting. Lovely room overlooking Castle Stalker and Loch Linhe. The breakfast was probably the best I have ever had. Fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended.

Welcome in the Highlands

Last minute getaway We stayed in the Eyre room which is the largest room, however all rooms were a good size Mike the owner was an exceptional host. He had a great knowledge of the area and could advise on local attractions and walks as well as restaurant. View from dining room over the loch and Castle Stalker magnificent. Appin approximately 15mins drive from Glencoe. Tip: Mike spent many years in Asia he therefore offers a Thia breakfast.

Incredible view, lovely host and beautiful room. What more could I ask for! I was made very welcome. A dinner reservation was waiting at the pub over the road (fantastic steak). Everything was perfect. This was just a one night stay on business but I hope to be back on holiday.

A very nice place to stay. We had a comfortable room overlooking the Loch with a grand view. Mike was a very hospitable host and made sure that everything was satisfactory. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning views, excellent modern room and bathroom (Stayed in The Eyrie), genial and welcoming host, great breakfast options including the 'full Scottish'. Why not relax on the balcony and take in a spectacular sunset. Camera/drink required. Great steaks at the Old Inn just minutes walk away. (Booking essential) Lovely circular walk can be enjoyed at Port Appin, 10 mins drive away and Tony might lend you his Kayak if you fancy a paddle to Castle Stalker.

We loved the aspect. Probably unsurpassable in the West of Scotland. Owner Mike went out of his way to make our stay memorable, even provided a birthday cake for my wife. Only problem was the porridge at breakfast.
