“Nice big room, comfortable bed. Everything very clean and well appointed. 24/7 Continental breakfast was so convenient with a wide variety of choices to meet everyone’s needs, including gluten-free, dairy, free, etc. The outdoor deck is getting a little worn, but perfectly comfortable with nice seating. Really enjoyed how the room opened onto the front deck if you wanted to pop outside real quick or sit out at the table. It was a lovely spot very close to town. Really a great place to stay.”

“It was nice and new, large room and clean. We ate dinner at the bar. Ordered the steak it was terrible and got the carrot appetizer the bartender raved about, it was terrible as well. Breakfast was very good and the staff was welcoming. Not much around the hotel for other dinning or entertainment options. You’d have to drive.”

“The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. The view and common areas were lovely for relaxing, working or coffee/breakfast. And, it was. so nice to have trails onsite as well as be near Minnewaska and Mohonk.”

“The place is old, but was refurbished in years past. The closet door mirror was broken. Black ants in the bathroom. On the positive side, it was one minute away from FDR's house and library, and a little bit away from a new shopping center with a supermarket. The guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was waffles and oatmeal; some fruit was out to grab. Hyde Park is not what we expected. The town looks tired. It needs updating in many areas, but at least there is new commerce coming in...

“First of all I paid extra for the “Premium” room experience which was supposed to include snacks and egyptian sheets and luxurious towels….I get in the room (which wasn’t hard because the door frame was busted) and there are no snacks, stains all over the furniture and a HUGE cigarette burn in the comforter. “Not a bad motel if you can get a room at a decent price. Room was fairly spacious and clean. Bathroom is a bit small but the room makes up for it. I particularly liked that housekeeping respected your privacy sign if you didn't want or need them for anything. Front desk was very friendly and easy to check in/out.
