âThere is a problem with the free breakfast thing. The purchase said it was included, but when I tried to pay for the room it was an additional $14 upcharge, per person. If you don't pay the extra then the meal is $28 for a strangely varied meal-boxed scrambled eggs, decent bacon, excellent coffee and nice waffles and pastries... Not a $28 meal, even in Minneapolis. Not sure what went wrong with the "free breakfast", I was too tired to argue about it.â

âGreat hotel, great location, and wonderful staff all around. We were greeted kindly at check-in and received a complementary breakfast as it was my birthday. The check-in staff was extremely friendly. Our server the next morning at breakfast was also extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this hotel and will stay again if in the area.â
âWe heard about the Hewing from friends and we loved everything including the lobby/bar, our room, it was clean nice and we really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub. 10/10 and we will be back. â

âStaff was wonderful! Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, wish there would have been breakfast meat to go along with the eggs, but overall it was good. Lots of toppings for oatmeal and waffles. Be aware if you get a room facing downtown, you may encounter traffic noise all night long. Also to note, the parking lot in the back, backs up to a Salvation Army center and there were many homeless. We didnât feel unsafe, but itâs something to note. Itâs a nice clean hotel and the staff...
