“We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. “From our arrival through to our departure, The Birdhouse surpassed our expectations. It's beautifully designed and it's in an amazing location. Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay. I highly recommend a stay and hope to return to The Birdhouse one day. ”

"The hotel had a very good location and we had a nice view of the bay from our window. The parking is limited but we did find a space. The shower in the bathroom was modern but otherwise the hotel had an old fashioned feel. The breakfast was disappointing. It seemed that the hot food had been lying for some time under lamps to keep it warm. There is a very good pizzeria a short walk from the hotel and a quaint square with shops and a cafe very close by. "
