Lake front home, private dock, pet friendly

Come and enjoy while relaxing in Keg Creek Cottage. Right on Clark's hill lake, the home is situated in a deep water cove with a dock with a boat slip. With a beach right on the cove, it's perfect for swimming and kayaking. The home has a fenced in yard so your fur babies can enjoy their vacation too. Awesome outdoor area with a rec tec grill and fire pit. Screened in porch to sit and enjoy the beautiful evening. Kayaks, paddle boards, and corn hole are provided for your entertainment.

The home has 3 bedrooms, all with a queen bed. All linens are provided. there are also 3 full bathrooms that come which also come with linens. There is also an additional queen murphy bed in the down stairs living area. There are 2 tv areas, 2 tables, and reading area by the fireplace, and lots of deck and patio space.

There is plenty of outside space, a private fenced in yard and use of the dock. The dock is private to the property, but will be shared with another short term rental.

Guests will be given a digital door lock. You have the entire home to yourself. The dock is for the use of the two homes on the property as well as the disc golf. Covered parking is available to the right of the home, just for this home alone.

We are available anytime you may need. We are only about 25 minutes away, and our cleaner is very close by, so if anything is needed we are able to address it immediately. Most communication is done through the app.

Beautiful home. The set up of having 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on the main level (one with walk in shower) and one bedroom and bathroom on the lower level was perfect for my family. The host provided everything all the basics to get us started (paper towels, dishwasher detergent, body wash, shampoo, etc) Great view of the lake. Also, the view of all the stars in the sky very early in the morning was spectacular. Host was very responsive to all needs.

Wonderful Vacation at Keg Creek Cottage

Our family reserved Keg Creek Cottage for a week and loved it so much we reserved again for an additional night. Our host was so gracious when we had a question and she answered so quickly. We had such a great time! When we arrived, the view from the windows were even better than the pictures and The open kitchen included a nice welcoming assortment of snacks of which we enjoyed. There was so much room for us and we enjoyed the Corn Hole game when not on the lake. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun place for the whole family! We will definitely be back!

Family wedding

This home was very nice and clean. Had everything we needed. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Plenty of room for the adults and young adults to have separate spaces. Dock was very nice for sunbathing. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The Keg Creek Cottage is very clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. It exceeded my overall expectations! We brought our pontoon and our dog, so the dock and fenced in yard were perfect for us! The amenities and personal touches throughout the property definitely made us feel welcome! The location was quiet, and the boat ramp right down the road was very convenient. The owner was very responsive and frequently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our stay 😊 I would highly recommend this beautiful property ❤️

Great House and stay during masters

This was a great lake house that we stayed at during the Masters Golf Tournament. The 10-15min drive back into town was not bad at all and we found pretty much everything we needed at a Publix or several restaurants in town. While it was a bit of a drive to the tournament we appreciated the quietness of the property and it allowing us to escape all the hustle of town. The inside was tastefully decorated and well kept. Everything was clean and worked as it should. We especially found the labels on all light switches very helpful to quickly figure out what does what. Overall great stay. However I am giving 4 stars due to a billing issue that went unresolved for a bit. VRBO was utterly unhelpful and frustrating as I reached out to them numerous times. Eventually VRBO contacted the host who fixed the issue.

A Complete Family Retreat

Our family travels together several times a year, often with grandkids and grandparents, and we always prefer VRBO homes to hotels. This house at Keg Creek is jumping up to the top of list, and every member of the family agrees. You can tell the owners are thoughtful hosts, with helpful signage and no guesswork; even an “in case you forget” supply basket. It was well kept, well furnished, plenty of space, and indoor/outdoor areas that were perfect for kids and adults in their own spaces. We brought along our pontoon boat, and docking it under the covered dock was so easy and convenient. We could have stayed a whole week, and even discussed a family summer trip back to this house. Thank you so much to this family for sharing their retreat with us!

Great place to relax!

We loved this property! With the two story set up it was perfect for each family to feel like they had their own space without being on top of each other. The upstairs (main floor) was perfect for the meal times and playing games at the large family table. The downstairs was perfect for the kids to play (with the included kids tows and tricycle) this was a wonderful added touch that we used on the rainy day during our stay. Also the bait and tackle store down the street hooked us up for the weekend with all the kid fishing stuff we needed for a really good price! Publix grocery store and some restaurants are a quick and easy drive down the road so you can keep your supply of stuff easily without making a day trip. We will be coming back to more trips in the future!!

Second time staying at property. House is clean, well stocked, perfect location close to boat ramp, and easy access for folks traveling with boats. We travel to the area often for fishing tournaments. This is our go to place.. Owner is very helpful and easy to contact.

Gorgeous!!

This place was amazing. This was our second stay at this beautiful place. We were there for our grandson's fishing tournament. The location is great for getting to the launch. Being able to fish off the shore was fantastic. The owners were always available and very accommodating! We will definitely return!!
