Hotelet är rent och fint direkt på stranden. Personalen är super trevliga och hjälpsamma . Libanesisk restaurangen på hotellet är en av bästa i Aqaba. Maten är väldigt god. Hotellet Frukost buffé är jätte bra.

Smakfullt, bevämt och duktig personal
"Fine dining" på hotellet var en stor besvikelse. Trerätters hummermiddag var trist - och dyr. Vi skulle inte våga äta där igen. Frukost var dock varierad och av hög kvalité. Personal var överlag utmärkt.

Fantastiskt hotell med fantastisk personal.Vilken service! Rest mycket och bott på många hotell men aldrig upplevt denna service.Enda minus i övrigt är att själva staden är deprimerande. Och smutsig.

Characterless instead of authentic
If you are a couple or family looking for relaxed luxary days in a clean and stylish 5-star western environment with international food then the Aqaba Kempinski is the right place for you. But the architecture of the building is already speaking a clear language. It is describing a quarter of a circle with a fortress-like almost window-less facade and high walls against the city. It wants to shield you from the outside. Jordan's welcoming friendliness has almost no place here and is replaced by coolness and artificial smiles. Staff is as international as the food. Unfortunately the mix wants to be exotic but becomes characterless instead of authentic. If you come from Europe as most other guests then you'll even enjoy the rules brought from Kempinksi AG in Germany to the pool area. Pools and the artificial small beach are okay for families with smaller kids for a weekend. Too little shade and too few sun loungers though. If you stay longer you'll probably want to bring your nanny as many other guests do. If you have school kids or rather want to go snorkeling then you'll likely get bored soon. On the other hand if you are on a honey moon you might mind all the kids. If you mind the big freight ships anchoring in the bay, the noisy boat traffic, the phosphate dust cloud over the nearby habour or want to dive/snorkel then you'll probably be better off in Tala Bay anyways. In the city I liked the Mövenpick much more.

Kempinski Aqaba - 5 +i alla avseenden
Vi har rest mycket över hela världen men detta hotell överglänste det mesta.
Kempinski var stilrent, väldigt funktionellt och hade all service man kan önska av ett 5-stjärnigt hotell.
Personalen, mestadels från Filipinerna, är otroligt proffsig och talar mycket god engelska.
Rummet - alla rum är likartade - var väldigt stort, ljust och alla rum har rak havsutsikt. Klinkergolv och sköna sängkläder i bomull. Rummen "kvällsbäddas" av personalen.
Frukosten var i världsklass. I den matsalen serveras också väldigt fina buffémiddagar (fräscht, nytt hela tiden). Annars finns en lounge som serverar drinkar och mindre rätter, en strandservering för luncherna på dagen samt på kvällen Aqabas finaste restaurang, Fish Inn som serverar lyxmat med betoning på skaldjur.
Priserna på maten är nära Sverigepriser men räkna med att dryckerna är dyrare. Inte bara alkohol utan även mineralvatten kostar en hel del. Men rummens minibar med massor av mineralvatten. juice och läsk är gratis och fylls på varje dag!
Poolområdet var ytterst välhållet och lyxigt byggt. När vi besökte hotellet i mars var det halvbelagt men jag skulle tro att det är lugnt och stillsamt även vid högsäsong. Detta är ett hotell som drar till sig lugna gäster. Trots att vi har barn och hon fann några kompisar i barnpoolen så är området så välbyggt och lugnt att alla fick ut det bästa av vistelsen.
Till den privata stranden med fint, klart vatten, fraktar hotellet ny, vit sand med jämna mellanrum. Fin hotell- och strandservice med stora, fina badlakan, solsängar samt "solhus" med stora medrasser i sanden, duschar och flera serveringar i anslutning.
Vid stranden finns också ett lekrum med massor av aktiviteter samt två datorer för de yngsta gästerna - lekrummet kan överses från stranden, vilket passade oss med en fyraåring bra.
Det enda negativa skulle vara kontrasten mellan hotellets höga klass och Aqaba i övrigt som inte hade så mycket att erbjuda, tycker vi.
Men det var spännande att komma till ett nytt land med så dramatisk natur och så spännande läge - och med vår utflykt till Petra samt Wadi Rum-öken, med privat guide i egen bil, tycker vi att vår resa blev blev 5 +. Privatguide blev dessutom två tredjedelar billigare - och mer personligt - än att åka med på charterbolagets utflykter!

The beach was perfection-bright , clean sand and sparkling water and the infinity pools were beautiful, all adjacent to the Red Sea and lovely landscape. I loved my room-clean and the bed put me in a comatose state.
The staff answered all my questions and were kind and professional. I hope to return.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Kempinski Hotel Aqaba, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making me feel instantly at ease.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was immaculate, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Speaking of the rooms, mine was spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was pristine and well-stocked with essential toiletries.
I also had the chance to take advantage of some of the hotel's facilities, such as the pool and spa. Both were kept in excellent condition and provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
One standout feature of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant offered a wide array of delicious options, and I thoroughly enjoyed every meal I had there. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a vast selection of fresh and tasty dishes to choose from.
Overall, my stay at the Kempinski Hotel Aqaba was exceptional. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the attention to detail truly made a difference in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Das Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurants war sehr gut, Die Betten perfekt zum schlafen, sehr ruhig, herrlich am Privatstrand des Hotels zu badend etc. Einfach alles perfekt so wie man es von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten kann

Bad check in experience
When we came to the checkin area
First the lady said that our room is in low floor and she see we are not with kids. And people normally complain about the pool noise in the morning... it will be a good idea if we will upgrade the room, she said that they have a special offer bla bla...
After telling her we have the VIP thing from hotel.com and we are eligible to free upgrade when available she started saying it's not working that way and they are always telling hotel.com to remove that offer from the web site 😏😏😏
Overall they were very confused and each representative gave another reason why we are not entitled for that free upgrade.
After, she said we will have 20% off food and beverage and that they also give us 20 JOD credit. Eventually that also didn't happen 😕.
Other then that. The hotel was great. Room is pretty big and shower is the best part.
Need to note that the pool area is very small and there are not enough sun beds. We used a towel on the grass and it was definitely ok 😀

Beautiful beach front property on the Red Sea - in between Movenpick & Inter-Con hotels. Hotel looks and feels modern and stylish. Beach and pools are nice. Hotel is close to restaurants and shops so you have many options. I didn't really like the hotel breakfast buffet as it was busy and chaotic.

Nice beach area with soft sand and clear waters. However the passing tourist boats were very disturbing and annoying.
Staff is very friendly and helpful but service for room service was very slow- took over an hour to get a few basic dishes.
Rooms were nice, clean and big. Overall we had a nice experience but I think this hotel is priced too high for what is offered. If I had known what was at the hotel and in Aqaba I would not have stayed in this town and this hotel for such high prices.

L’hôtel est sur la plage, privée de surcroît, avec piscine. La chambre était vraiment spacieuse, vue mer et bien équipée. Minibar gratuit, Parking à disposition et d’excellents restaurants. Très bon service, à recommander.
