Gîte au Mouton d'Amédée - ARANDAS

Nestled in the hills above the hamlet of Indrieux, in the commune of Arandas, Le Mouton d'Amédée comprises two adjoining cottages accommodating up to 12 people. Upon arrival, you have two entrances to choose from. If you decide to climb a little higher, you can enjoy the large, elevated terrace with its panoramic views of the village and the surrounding Bugey countryside. Inside, the living areas reveal the true character of the place. With exposed stone walls, warm wood, and a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room, the atmosphere is welcoming and bright. In one of the cottages, an imposing antique cider press bears witness to the house's agricultural past. Simplicity, authenticity, and functionality intertwine to create a pleasant space. Upstairs, depending on the cottage, you'll find charming, cozy bedrooms with sloping ceilings and exposed beams. Five bedrooms, each furnished with single beds, are available and can be arranged to suit any configuration. Each step, each level contributes to the character of the house and the discovery of its cozy corners. Outside: a large private terrace or small garden, a pétanque court. A games room shared by both cottages, with a shower and sauna (available upon request to the owners). Looking for outings? The surrounding area is brimming with them. On the Plateau d'Hauteville, the trails offer magnificent panoramic hikes. Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the rolling roads and mountain biking circuits of the Bugey region. For a refreshing break, Lake Virieu-le-Grand invites you to take a dip. Those with a thirst for adventure can discover the spectacular Cerveyrieu waterfall or try the vertical thrills of the Hostiaz via ferrata. Exploring farmers' markets and wine tastings in the Bugey region will complete a stay focused on nature and authenticity. Mouton Cottage: Living room with a sofa bed - 3 bedrooms, each with two single beds (90x200cm) - shower room with toilet. Amédée Cottage: Living room - 2 bedrooms, the first with two single beds (90x200cm) and the second with four single beds (90x200cm), two of which can be joined upon request - shower room with toilet.
