With room for 8-10 people, this is the perfect spot for an evening of conversation, drinks, and stargazing.



For a little friendly competition, enjoy a custom-made Cornhole game built from Redwood wood—perfect for soaking in the serene surroundings.



Beyond the patio, the property leads you through a wooded trail to a grass turf area where children can enjoy a swing or play games like soccer, badminton, or volleyball. For an elevated view, the deck above the grass offers a lovely spot to watch the kids and relax under the glow of 400 feet of twinkling string lights that make the backyard just as inviting at night.



The highlight of your stay is the peaceful connection with nature. A trail leads you to the top of the property, where another deck offers sweeping views of the golf course and surrounding woods. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a game room that doubles as a cozy 6th bedroom with a comfortable Murphy bed. This fun-filled room features a pool table, a 65-inch TV, and its own bathroom, making it a favorite for teens or anyone looking for a private retreat within the home.



The main level is home to a spacious great room where the living area, kitchen, and dining space seamlessly flow together. The kitchen is a chef’s dream—fully stocked with high-end appliances and everything needed to prepare memorable meals for your group. The large dining table seats 8-10, and the expansive windows provide beautiful views of the golf course and its occasional golfers. It's an exciting, live-action backdrop as you enjoy a meal or relax in the living area with a movie on the 85-inch TV.



The great room leads to a covered sun porch, a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee while soaking in views of the surrounding trees and golf course. Just off the sun porch, the bunk room feels like a cozy treehouse, with windows all around, a TV, and an electric fireplace to keep things warm and inviting.



The upper level of the house features three spacious bedrooms, including a master suite with a king-sized bed and a spa-like bathroom. Two additional king bedrooms offer plenty of space for rest, each with its own internet TV and a quiet, serene atmosphere.

For those traveling with a larger group, a charming cottage on the property provides a 7th bedroom. With a queen bed and a stunning view of an old-growth redwood stump, this cozy space offers a peaceful retreat. The cottage is located just 50 feet from the main house and is perfect for guests seeking a little extra privacy, though it does not have its own bathroom (the main house is just a short walk away). A mini fridge is provided for drinks and snacks.

You will have access to the main house and yard.



The Neighborhood:

Imagine sitting on the covered patio, sipping your morning coffee, and watching the deer in the distance. Emerald green grass is in full view, as the Baywood Golf Course surrounds the property.



The house is located on Baywood Ln, which is a private road. Because this is a private road, we ask guests not to walk further up the hill to the neighbor's homes. You can walk to the left out of the driveway and go left or right for a nice stroll around the golf course



Baywood Country Club is a private course. If you are interested in golf, please let us know and we can see if it is possible to get you on the course. The official rule is that the member needs to be with the guest but we have found calling the pro shop with reservations can often work.



A short drive from the house is Murphys Supermarket for stocking up on supplies (2 miles)

1. Sunny Brae Trail Head #1- more details are found online. This is 1.3 miles from the house and is a great spot for hiking in the redwoods.

2. Arcata Plaza- 3.4 Mi- great spot for restaurants, bars, and shopping

4. Moonstone Beach- 18 mi, amazing beach that is a safe place for kids to swim. It has a river that flows to the ocean

5. Clam Beach- 13 mi

6. Humboldt Beach- 7 miles

7. Arcata Bay- the bay is massive and is only a couple of miles from the house, which keeps the climate cooler in the summers

8. Redwood National /State Park- 35 Miles, There are Redwood walks within a couple of miles from the house, but a trip to Redwood National Park is well worth the drive. This is heading North on the 101

9. Avenue of the Giants- 40 miles, this is simply amazing. The Avenue of The Giants is a road paralleling the main highway that allows you to see the giant trees right from the car. But a walk into one of the famous groves will lead you to some of the largest trees on the planet

10 Klamoth- 50 miles, a great spot to take a thrilling ride on the Jet Boats up the river. There are also the trees of mystery

11. Trinidad- 18 miles, great coastal town with a safe beach for the kids

12. Sequoia Park Zoo- 9 miles, in Eureka, and they just opened a Redwood Canopy Walk. It is a really cool suspended walkway, 100 feet above the forest floor. It is a small zoo but worth seeing for a few hours.

13. Shelter Cove- 95 Miles, this is a committed day trip and is worth combining with the Avenue of the Giants.
