“This is such an amazing location, and the staff are amazing! You will absolutely see animals! We would wake up to elephants and reticulated giraffes crossing right in front of our site. Monkeys will hang out on your patio and baboons are constantly nearby. We made the mistake of not locking the zipper (absolutely on us! they tell you to do so multiple times) and had some monkeys enter and wreck havoc! “The manager of the Transit Hotel refused to honor my reservation even though I showed him the confirmation and receipt that Experdia sent to my email account. He did not refund the payment, either. Instead, he sent me into the streets of Isiolo, carrying my luggage, to find another hotel.”
“Isiolo is a small town, 40,000 people. There are not a lot of accomodations. One good thing about the hotel is the fact that it has an elevator and limited parking. It is clean. The staff are very friendly, but probably Kenyans are gentle in general. The hot water did not always work. The restaurant offering are limited, even for a small town.”
