âThe hotel was staffed by competent, friendly Midwesterners and was a cut above other budget hotels we've stayed in recently. Both the pool and hot tub were working, and the breakfast at the on-site Perkins was lovely, offering 3 (free) options. The cheese house and antique mall share the same general parking area. A short drive in to Tomah takes you to a movie theatre, cute town, park, and lake with a lovely walking path along its shore. We will definitely return.â
âIt was the right choice for a quick affordable stop during a pretty bad snowstorm. The staff was very friendly and checking was quick, then I passed out on the bed. Very nice, comfortable room with everything I needed including soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Just bring your own toothbrush and you're set.
I didn't use the gym or pool, but it all looked very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast had a choice of mostly grains, breads, yogurt, and juices, but the hard boiled eggs were a nice...
