“It is a former nobel family’s villa. Wonderful restorated for 40 years ago by a doctor who baught it. Meny different areas to sit at outdoor and indoor. The rooms was in perfect condition. “This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay.”

“A unique borgo for learning about chianti wines and very nice hotel with great view. The rooms are decorated to give character of real borgo. Not so comercial feeling about the wineyard - more like a place for passionate winemakers! This was the only wineyard we stopped at in chianti and it was the perfect one for us”

“A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! Rooms are quiet and matress so comfortble that I overslept and missed breakfast! However, they insisted on offering me some coffee or juice. Very nice staff. Free parking on premises. “We got upgraded and the room was fanastic and rustic. friendly straff, environment and service was great. The only complain we have is the more simple restaurant, La Cantina, that didn't live up to any italian culinary experience at all. The food we had was very tasteless and lacked sign of creativity and the wine the served us was waaay to warm. My husband is a sommelier himself and we have visited several fine dining restaurants over the world and have to say that we expected more from this...

“Ett vänligt litet hotell med en fin trädgård och välbehövlig svalkande pool. Ligger verkligen i hjärtat av Chianti med allt det har att erbjuda av vingårdar, mat och natur. Återvänder mer än gärna!”

“Trevligt, bra, relativt enkelt hotell beläget några minuters promenad från byn. Roberta,hennes familj och personal var mycket hjälpsamma och service inriktade. De första dagarna var poolen inte städad, det var då också väldigt dåligt väder vilket kanske spelade in, de sista dagarna i vår vistelse blev poolen städad och väldigt fin. Frukosten ok, utan några större överraskningar Om vi återvänder till Castellina de Chianti(vilket är mycket sannolikt) så kommer vi definitivt att bo på detta hotell...
