Thank you for reviewing our property. Sorry you had some problems but glad your overall visit was enjoyable. We try very hard to do our maintenance between guests so sometimes you will see for example that the plaster has been repaired but not painted. We try to fix thing at the first opportunity but this year has been extraordinary in that all of a sudden we went from not having any guests to being constantly booked giving us very little time to do nonessential repairs. We have a 500lbs gas tank but having so many guests we failed to check the gas. This is why we have the back up of an electric stove. As for the TV, unfortunately guests change settings, connect their games and then don't put it back to normal watching. Whenever I'm there I have to get the grandkids to operate it so I'm thinking this was user error. This house is by far the most affordable house for size and what it offers. Our goal was exactly that to offer a place where family and friends can gather and enjoy each other, see some other parts of the Island if they want to or just laze back .but not have to pay through the nose to do so. It is on the beach. Not near it, ON IT, therefore there are always going to be maintenance issues as anyone who owns a beach house. We do our best to make sure those issues are one that will not interfere with you have a jolly old time. Thanks for coming and hope to see you back soon.

Glad to see that we accomplish one of our main goals which is to provide a setting that allowed you to be completely contented whether or not you ever left the house. With this size of the house and the fact that it is a concrete structure, even though we have boosters throughout the house, it is best to be in the room with the main internet setup if you must be online as there are areas the signal just won't get to. So put that computer away and relax, play some games and enjoy your time together. You will be back in the thick of things soon enough. Create some great menories with your loved ones.

This house is ON THE BEACH. Not close to it but on it. For all the reasons we love the beach, these are all the very same reason maintenance is very Challenging and constant. The refreshing breeze that blows brings with it salt that gets into everything so everything gets rusty. We fight this battle everyday but the ocean wins. We cannot keep up so we focus on the things that make a difference to your stay, i.e. a house that is clean and well stocked with things for you to do and enjoy and that the things you are going to use are functional.. This year has been extraordinary in that we have had so many guests that there has been no time for large scale general maintenance because we have had no time in between guest to do things like power washing and painting the very large and long concrete fence wall. The area with the BBQ is outdoors. things, sand, flower debrie, blow in. The question to ask is was the BBQ grill itself clean? was the small fridge and large cooler out there clean? I know that the answer to all of these question is yes because for this particular time I actually did a surprise inspection. As for the pool, yes it needed to be resurfaced, not painted. However we could not find the marbel need for the job. Yes we could have painted it but that would have created an even bigger problem when we did find the marbel. I am happy to report that we now have a beautiful pool again. Although most of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, the 3rd floor has the best bedroom suite ever and well worth the climb. No we do not see an elevator in our future. At $1000/night rental rate for a 6 bedroom 7 baths house with living space to comfortably accommodate 24 people I would say bringing your own personal items should not be a hardship. If you are looking for a place to relax with family and friends in a house that is awesome by any standard come visit us and share some family time with the folks that are important in your life. you will not regret it.. Look at the ocean not the fence.
