“Very good service, hotel condition and amenities. Rooms are sound proof but the big road will make some noises into the rooms facing it. We asked for another room due ro sounds from the road and even got an upgrade. Big thanks to the personel that help us with this.”

“My daughter and I had a great 3 night stay at The Hotel on Pownal. This is an older hotel that has been updated and modernized. Walking distance to downtown core and restaurants, excellent on-site parking (with electric charging noted), comfortable beds and bedding, and a great breakfast that included a wide selection of gluten free options for my celiac daughter, including a designated space and gluten-free-only toaster. Dairy free options were noted as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming....

“I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs.
