“A very good hotel with a nice owner. But, the breakfast needs improving. It closes at 0900 and there is seldom fruit and the artificial juices are too sweet. Why serve salt fish instead of han or sausages? Apart from the breakfast issue we had cold water in our shower that did not get fixed despite two notions to the reception. Otherwise all was perfect and I can strongly recommend this hotel with the biggest rooms we ever stayed in.”

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. ”

“We stayed one night on our way to Tobago. We arrived at the airport in the evening and were picked up as agreed. We would only notify when we had passed customs and passport controll etc. We could call ourselves but the helpful tourist information called for us. We got a fantastically nice and clean room on the second floor. Wifi worked perfectly. “The property is in the heart of San Juan, but the gps location is not accurate. We were able to call the owner who gave us actual directions to the property. Once we got there, everything improved. The owner contacted you in advance to confirm your stay, so that was nice. I had previously booked the property, and they cancelled it, and raised the rate. “The Airport Inn is more like a B&B than a hotel. It's quite quaint and pleasant. The hospitality was excellent. We got in after midnight and needed to have milk available for a toddler and they made it happen. The buffet breakfast was quite nice for a complimentary breakfast. And the rooms were spacious and clean. Nothing fancy but it felt very comfortable.”
