“The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“The room was very clean, adequate and certainly befitted our needs. The staff were most helpful, particularly the waiter called Andy whose sense of humour kept us entertained at breakfast. The small pool was a bonus. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not in use whilst we stayed at the Brunswick Hotel.”

“Smakfullt dekorerat hotell som drivs av en engagerad familj. Rummet var rätt litet men sägen var stor. Fanns badkar som jag gillar och då trycket i duschen var lågt var det enklare att bada. Stora fina badhandukar men svårt att hänga upp dem. Provade inte poolen men den såg härlig ut. God frukost många härliga soffor både ute och inne. Vi hade en bra upplevelse och ett fantastiskt bemötande!”

“I had the bed, breakfast and dinner option, although there was a reduced menu for the option there was still a good selection, all of the food including the breakfast was fantastic. The room was a good size but the outdated and damaged furniture let it down slightly. The evening bar staff were above and beyond in the level of service i received. Will definitely stay here again”

“The hotel has nice staff in the restaurant but otherwise it seemed that they really couldn't care less about taking care of customers. The room was dusty with old nails on the floor and the bathroom hadn't gotten a good cleaning in a long time. When this was pointed out to the staff they brushed of some parts and sprayed airfreshner all over the place. As for the public spaces in the hotel they could really need a brush up, especially the carpets (they smelled). The hotel could be a ok place to...

“Om du kommer med färjan så är hotellet verkligen centralt. Och charmigt, trappor upp och åt sidan några trappsteg ned eller några till uppåt. Svårt att förstå hur arkitekten en gång planerade detta, men som sagt det är charmigt. Dock är hissen lite läskig. Stannade på våning tre utan att dörrarna öppnades alls. Det var sista gången vi tog hissen. Rummet hade mycket snedtak, duschen blev lite knepig, begränsad ståhöjd och själva kranarna greppade vi aldrig. Men frukosten var utmärkt, så mycket...
