Relaxing wine country stay!
The casita was perfect for my birthday get away. Close to many wineries and a short drive to the beaches. Elise was very helpful and suggested excellent restaurants in the area. We will definitely return. The property is very peaceful.

House of Dreams
We had a magical stay at the House of Dreams. Elise was an amazing host. The house was immaculate, private, peaceful, and well-appointed. Close to everything wonderful in the SLO area. I hope to return someday soon.

SLO Bliss
This property is the perfect locale for a quiet and restful vacation. Property is beautiful and immaculate. Location is convenient to many central coast activities. Owners are welcoming and helpful prior to and during stay. This was a perfect home away from home. Will be making this our regular retreat for our central coast vacays.

Amazing Place! Beautiful & so peaceful! 5-Stars ++ Exceeded expectations!
- This place was truly amazing! Pictures posted online do not do it any justice - the casita and grounds are much more beautiful than in pics. - If you're looking for peace and zen this is it! There is something healing about this place. - It was my husband's and my first VRBO! We were a bit nervous as we have not stayed in a VRBO/private estate before so we tried to manage our expectations before we arrived. And I'm more than happy to report that this place exceeded our expectations! - The casita was immaculate which was such a relief as I am extremely OCD on cleanliness. - Beautifully appointed with high-end/quality amenities (from kitchenware, furnishings, linens, washer/dryer, etc.) - Great coffee, water filter system so no need for case of bottled water! -And yoga mats!! - Sweet gestures to welcome guests - from snack basket to the eucalyptus shower bomb from a local business. - My husband & I went up to the Oxygen Room/Bamboo fortress and had some quiet/meditation time. Yoga mats and meditation mats were provided which was such a plus! - The host/innkeeper Elise is such a lovely human with a kindred spirit! She was so welcoming, yet not intrusive! - My husband and I came up the coast for some R&R and we definitely found our respite here! And if only, we could keep this place a secret/to ourselves, but it is so deserving (along with Elise) to be shared!

Holiday getaway
This was by far the best rental property that we have ever stated in! Elise was an excellent communicator right from the beginning and warm & personable! The casita that we stayed in was even nicer than the pictures which is usually not the case. It was clean, had all the amenities you could think of, comfortable, quiet & in the most beautiful location & setting! Elise provided a big book to offer suggestions of where to hike, dine, travel & any other activity you could think of. She offered to help us out in any way & was there with a response right away when I reached out. She gave complimentary snacks, wine, drinks, etc which was such a nice touch! We loved our private deck overlooking the woods as well as the gas fireplace which we used all the time to keep cozy & warm as the weather was damp & rainy a lot while we were there. The location was perfect, near the beaches, downtown, wineries, restaurants, but secluded to have the quietness. For all these reasons, we plan on coming back as it was just perfect in every way!

Amazing area to explore!
This casita was a perfect home base to explore the SLO area. Most everything was 15-20 min or less away; beaches, Cal Poly, wineries, SLO. The house hosts have thought of everything to make it comfortable-yoga mats, night lights, snacks, a book of suggestions of things to do. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and serene
The casita is a perfect getaway spot tucked onto the hill above Pismo. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and there is ample outdoor shared space around the property to slow down and enjoy the sun, the stars, the fog, and the mist. I also worked remotely and had an easy time balancing the work and rest. Elise and Frank were friendly, extremely helpful, and very kind. Highly recommended. We would absolutely book again.

Wonderful Stay!
This place is amazing. Elise and Frank are great hosts, and made me feel most welcome and at home. And, I slept very well. The cute casita was perfect, and location exactly what I was looking for-- a little off-grid away from crowds but close enough to everything-- wineries, beaches, hiking. I was lucky enough to hear and see two owls while visiting, check out their beautifully-tended gardens, enjoy the bamboo oxygen room, and overall just chill. Elise, thank you for the local wine- it was delicious. I really appreciated all of the details of the decor, the Santa Fe architecture, skylights, deck for taking in nature, and a really cozy bed. Would stay again in a heartbeat - and plan to!

Peace on Earth
La Casita is lovingly and thoughtfully put together. We were there for two weeks of peace and quiet. As nice as anyplace we’ve ever stayed. Elise and Frank were great hosts — helpful and knowledgeable. The Pismo Beach area has great beaches, hikes, restaurants, etc. Thank you!

It's even better in person
After arriving at Casa de los Suenos I was amazed to find it even better than the pictures showed. Elise obviously designed and decorated the casita with great attention to detail. The color scheme, art work, and quality of materials used in its creation are amazing. And how 'bout a live orchid plant in the bathroom that I managed not to kill during the 12 days we stayed there. And not only is the casita wonderful, but Frank has turned the surrounding land into an enchanted garden......and a full-time job, bless his heart. And all we had to do was sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy.

Great property with a zillion thoughtful touches - comfortable bed, extra pillows and blankets; well stocked kitchen, including condiments like oil and vinegar and spices; bath had a complete first aid kit, night light, make up mirror; plenty of towels and hangers, extra luggage stand. Absolutely superb! Hidden gem.
This is a great property. The casita is perfectly and intelligently laid out with great architecture/furnishings/appliances and finishes. Even though it's on the same property as the main house, it's situated and designed to provide privacy. It's also out of the "mix" of the Pismo area, which is our preference but getting to the beach area is very quick, so it was the best of both worlds for us. Elise is pure delight and a wealth of information about things to do in the area. We will definitely return and will recommend the property to friends and family without hesitation. Go there!

Best VRBO ever
It’s seldom that VRBO photos and descriptions don’t do justice to a property but this is one of those times. Upon arriving you are greeted by a spectacular landscape with a gorgeous succulent garden. The casita is larger than we expected and is beautifully decorated for the ease of traveling guests. Looking for an extra bedside reading light ? There it is. Wish there was an extra hook or two in the bathroom? There they are. Best closet ever,too. The guest book has recommendations for anything you might want to do . There is a lovely patio ,nestled in the trees. In short, I am afraid this has set a very high bar for future VRBO properties. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Well-conceived and well-maintained hide-away. Private, but the owners are right next door if you should need them. A nice touch was that they had bottle of wine ready for us upon arrival! Homey Hideaway!
Casa de los Suenos is absolutely charming! We've been going to the Arroyo Grande area for years to visit family & thought we'd take a chance and stay somewhere other than the one of the hotels along the 101. Best decision ever! This beautiful property is both secluded and ideally located to see the countryside and local wineries, close to downtown Arroyo Grande and a quick 20 min. drive to San Luis Obispo. Elise and Frank were wonderful hosts and have outfitted the Casa de los Suenos with everything you could possibly need or want. The charming little Casa was adorable, spotless and very comfortable. Definitely our top choice for future visits!

Perfect in every way!
This property was pristine and perfect in too many ways to mention. Great thought was put into every detail, even down to the first aide kit that we actually used for something not caused on the property. The bedding, towels, kitchen accessories, etc. were top of the line in quality. We are from the desert where we basically cannot open the windows from June through October because of the heat. What a joy it was to let the cool air flow throughout this beautiful, quiet retreat to unwind from the chaos of the world. Elise and her husband, Frank, made us feel most welcome and gave us tips for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. Plus, there were numerous, organized maps of many areas up the coast and inland. We took advantage of most of the recommendations and they were spot on. Our stay was soooo perfect, we contemplated not going home....EVER! We hope to return in the future to this incredible casita.

A great, romantic getaway
My wife and I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Casa de Sueno. From the moment we arrived Elise made us feel at home. She first gave a thorough walk through of her beautifully appointed accommodation and was ready to share as much information as we needed to make the most of our stay. She is very knowledgeable about the area and can suggest events and activities according to your interests. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated in a southwest/Santa Fe style. The exterior was reminiscent of an adobe dwelling. The furnishings and decor were all high quality and integrated to complement each other. The place is fully furnished and lacks nothing. Much attention is also given to the grounds and landscaping. While they are designed to conserve water there is still much complexity and beauty in the design. Besides all this there is the location. You are in a quiet, peaceful, secluded area surrounded by mature oak trees, birds, and other wildlife. Yet you are only a few minutes away from whatever conveniences you may need. The beaches are also close, with many wineries and tasting rooms in the vicinity. The combination of excellent accommodations, great climate, wonderful location, and outstanding hosts made our weekend getaway even that much more special.

Nearly Perfect!
We stayed for a week in this beautiful little casita. As all the other reviews state, it has been meticulously decorated and every detail is both pretty and functional. We enjoyed picking vegetables from the garden to make a salad and sat on the deck every day with the huge eucalyptus trees over our heads. We used the patio heater one night which helped us stay out even longer into the evening. The location was great for getting to all the golf courses from Morro Bay down to Nipomo...we played them all! The reason I can't give it a 5 star rating is that the noise from Noyes Road was ever present and a distraction when what I really wanted was quiet quiet quiet. As that is the only negative to the property, I think others who are not as sound sensitive and we are would probably award 5 stars.

Highly recommend this cozy casita for two.
This was our second visit to this beautiful casita and highly recommend it. It is meticulously clean, quiet and very comfortable with attractive décor. Considerable thought has gone into every detail. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a washer/dryer, gas fire and secluded deck. The gracious hosts, Elise and Frank, are very helpful with advice about local wineries, beaches, restaurants etc. It would be hard to find a more ideal place to spend a few days, or longer, amidst the central coast wineries with beaches, beautiful countryside and hiking a short distance away.

Casa de Suenos truly is a dream house!
Elise and Frank were absolutely wonderful hosts!! The casa was truly right out of a dream. The views were incredible, and we loved watching the fog rolling in the morning and the evening. There is also a plethora of wildlife in the area, and we were sung to sleep by cooing owls and chirping frogs. Elise was very helpful with her recommendations of things to do in the area. She knew all of the great spots to hit. Frank encouraged us to pluck flowers from his cactus garden to brighten our space. Everything was quiet and clean and a perfect getaway from the heat of Arizona. Many thanks for everything. We will definitely return!

Wonderful getaway. A quiet retreat from the valley heat.
My wife and I were looking to escape the Fresno heat as well as enjoy some lounging around quiet time. Elise and Frank have provided a lovely little (quite spacious actually) casita which is centrally located to all the activities in the area. Arroyo Grande downtown is a couple of minutes away for excellent eats. There is great cycling right out the door and quick access to hiking trails just down the road towards Lake Lopez. Elise and Frank are very accommodating and quick to respond to any needs you may have. Can't wait to go back!

Highly recommended, cosy casita
This is a tastefully decorated, well appointed, immaculately clean, free standing casita with all the amenities you need. The location is quiet and restful. Host, Elise, gave us a good overview of activities in the area plus brochures, recommendations and hiking book. A bottle of local wine was waiting our arrival. Beautiful Property in Great Location!
Elsie and Frank have done an outstanding job with this beautifully appointed Casita. They have thought of every detail, it was like being home and very relaxing. We stayed here 4 days and took in all the sights in the area, wine tasting, shopping, Moro Bay, Lake Nacimento. The location is great to use as a home base for day trips to all the nearby areas to explore. We would definitely stay here again. Frank and Elsie's hospitality was amazing very nice people.
