“Ok hotel although we were irritated because the manager promised to book a boat for us We specifically said we wanted a small boat to go to the backwaters and not to the lake. He said ok. The boat that came to pick us up was very big! When asking about that he said it would be safer than a smaller one and when we asked if it really would go to the backwaters he said no- only to the lake, since there are no backwaters! The hotel has considerable style, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful, the pool is lovely, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the beds are very comfortable. The setting is great, although the local beach is rather messy (but you do not need the beach when staying here).”
