“We arrived at the hotel, had a problem with one of the keys to the property, rang a number , told the person on the end of the phone, we couldn't get back into the property with the main key, just wanted the code for the master key, so we could actually enter the property,from when we got back from our day/nite out in Nottingham, but the person on the end of the phone hung up on me.lucky for us we had a key which we could open the patio doors so we could get in that way, we've stayed at this...

“I came to hike Kinder scout. Immediately I was taken care of and brought to my room. Room was lovely, great bed, bath tub, all the service one would need. There was a quizz evening but it never got noisy and I had a good night's sleep. In the morning I was served a tasty breakfast by the loveliest people I met during my trip. “A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...
