Gather around the fire pit under the stars or challenge friends in the arcade. Kids will love the playroom & outdoor playground. Cook with ease using the BBQ grill & kitchenette. High-speed WiFi & dedicated workspace make it ideal for work and play. Book now for an unforgettable stay!

Welcome to Our Sunshine Lake House!

This spacious home comfortably accommodates 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and a loft. Enjoy two sitting rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a convenient basement kitchenette, a game room, and two full bathrooms. You’ll also have access to a washer and dryer and a fenced backyard for your furry friends. Unwind on the deck or explore the lake from our spacious dock, complete with kayaks and a paddleboat. Two life jackets are provided; please bring one for each boater. The yard features a wooden playset and a fire pit, while stairs are required to reach the dock.


House Rules:

‱ Respect the community; avoid loud noise between 11 PM and 8 AM.

‱ No smoking or vaping on the property; extra $100 cleaning fees may apply.

‱ Pets welcome (1-2 with prior approval and fee). See pet policy.

‱ Life jackets must be worn in the lake; swim and boat at your own risk.

‱ No parties or unauthorized guests; violations may result in immediate eviction.

‱ Parking available; do not block neighbors’ driveways or mailboxes.

Pet Policy:

‱ Keep pets off furniture and supervise them while in the home.

‱ Use the provided crate if leaving pets alone.

‱ Clean up after pets inside and outside (clean-up basket provided).

‱ Vacuum excessive pet hair; use the provided lint brush as needed.

‱ Wash pets off after swimming in the lake.

For any damages or extreme cleaning needs due to pets, additional charges may apply.

This house is incredible! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Asheville. We were close to everything, yet the property feels secluded and very homely. The home was clean and kept up well with some endearing touches from the host. The large fenced in yard was perfect for my dog to explore safely, and the lake views are immaculate. We (group of 7 friends) ended every evening with unforgettable conversations on the deck and I liked to start my morning with a walk down to the dock. The only negative I can think of would be that the upstairs bedroom can get hot - I would suggest a window A/C unit. We also had to share the single shower, but that was apparent from the listing.

The owners were absolutely lovely before we even set foot on the property. Incredibly accommodating through some schedule changes on our end, and we’re very gracious about it. Upon entry, we were greeted with a little goodie bag and a very thoughtful note. All of the amenities throughout the home were nicely done, and you could tell someone had put consideration into everything. The property itself was SO nice! The house was airy and adorable, with views of the lake and of the charming backyard. The backyard is a tremendous feature, in fact, as it features terrorist levels stepping down to the lake. The two-story dock is the perfect place for your morning coffee, or an evening glass of wine, but if you don’t want to walk down to it, the deck off the back of the house has a great view of the lake, as well. The neighborhood was quiet, and we had nice walks exploring around the lake. My photos really don’t do it all justice, but the Pac-Man game in the ground level suite was a big hit!
