Home to an ancient cathedral as well as a range of friendly pubs and independent shops, the medieval city of Canterbury lies to the north (10.5 miles). This part of Kent is also known for vineyards and breweries, with the Brabourne Vineyard, Simpsons Wine Estate and the Curious Brewery and Taprooms, all within 9.5 miles.
