âThis place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madelineâs. â

âThe hotel exceeded my expectations. I was in a good mood the whole time. You could not ask for a better location right next to the Glendalough sites, plus reasonable rates. Although my room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed, plus a lovely view from the sizable windows even though it raced north toward the road. My only complaint about the hotel is that the front desk is not staffed 24/7 (I think it closes at 8 or 9 PM), which might create some anxiety for those returning late. I...

âThe town of Arklow is a quaint, quiet little town, very walkable, a river nearby. The Hotels proprietor was a very friendly, kind, helpful man. Check in at the bar was quick, room was nicely renovated, it could have been the time of year but it was VERY quiet in the upstairs area, I felt like I was the only one staying there. There was a bountiful, delicious breakfast the next morning, a full Irish breakfast and I had a lovely chat with the barkeep....he had been working there for 50...
âThe location is in the countryside with 40 shades of green all around. The location served as our base for exploring Glendalough, which was one of the top places to see on our 3-week trip, as well as Powerscourt Gardens, Waterfall, and other attractions such as Lough Tay and the bridge from the movie, "P.S. I Love You". My wife loved the washer/dryer in the apartment. â
