âLovely hotel and garden very nice place, good hotel room, good location, parking on site. Friendly and helpful reception staff and friendly helpful bar staff! The breakfast team gave good service each morning.
What more as a guest do you need and want!

âBeautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.â
âFint stĂ€lle med oerhörd potential men som hotell saknar det dĂ€r "lilla extra" som skulle göra det till ett riktigt bra val givet priset. Frukost och middag endast godkĂ€nt. Det kĂ€ndes som att hela stĂ€llet skulle behöva lite med energi, kĂ€rlek och underhĂ„ll. BĂ€st var parken och spat. Ăven rummen var mycket fina och kĂ€ndes helt nya (rum i stallet). Skulle kunna tĂ€nka mig att Ă„ka igen dit men förvĂ€ntningarna var högre. â
âCentralt lĂ€ge och trevlig personal men det var jobbigt att sova eftersom trots hög vĂ€rme fanns ingen luftkonditionering och fönstret fick öppnas bara en spalt. Dessutom fanns en vĂ€ldig högljud flĂ€kt direkt utanför fönstret och den var pĂ„ mellan ca 22:30 och 6. Frukost för dyrt. TV omöjligt att fĂ„ igĂ„ng, trots skriftliga anvisningar som jag lĂ€ste.â

Extra kudos to Steve who showed the kids around the upcoming breakfast tables and was ever so nice.
The reception manager needs education in how to greet newcomers, but apart from that, everything was great,
But oh, the swimming pool access was not possible. It is located in the next block across the street and the people there refused to let us in, claiming...

âThis was for us a pleasent surprise. A very nice room a good pub/restaurant very helpful staff . No AC open window. Good parking at the back. No lift. Some updating needed. But overall a very good hotelâ

âA lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.â
