âVery Scottish decorâ for some reason.
Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. I could see how frustrated the staff and the customers were getting with the whole situation. The room was clean and tidy with good tea and...
âI was staying for one night and generally I canât fault the hotel for its friendly staff, good food and the comfy bed. However I was in a single room, my choice, but the bathroom was far too small. Not sure what the other rooms are size wise, but donât choose a single room. The TV on the wall was bigger!â
âLovely place in a lovely city. Really friendly staff and the breakfast was a very nice touch! Would recommend anyone who wants a good place for the money. Also a cheap parking lot closeby (2.5 pounds between 18 and 9 which is good for people who want to go to lake district wit car)â
âI visited this property about 5 years ago and since then it has gone through a beautiful renovation....our room had a stunning view of the lake, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had cooked breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend.â
