Cozy, nice and very good value hotel. Great loc.
This hotel surpassed our expectations. Firstly we were very welcomed by the staff at check-in and we got a personalized map with all the sightseeing tips. The staff was super helpful during the whole stay. One of the best parts is that there is complimentary lemonade, wine and cookies every afternoon, which you can enjoy either at the heated pool or in your room while getting ready for a night downtown. Downtown is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, so you can basically leave your car during the stay and walk if you want to. Once in a while the staff also play relaxing live music on a grand piano in the cozy lobby. We had som bag trouble when we were to check out, but a little extra time after check out time was not a problem at all - the staff is nice and understanding. Great location, room, pool and breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will surely come back!

Trevligt hotel i Aspen
Trevligt hotel med inslag mot vandrarhem med trevlig personal. Goda frukostar,uppskattade dagligt återkommande vin och snacks från hotellet klockan 16.00. Sköna sängar och god kvalité på kuddar. Detta hotel kan varmt rekommenderas så ett mycket prisvärt och gemytligt hotet i för övrigt mycket dyra men fantastiska Aspen. Per Andersson Lidköping Sweden

This is my new favorite place to stay in Aspen! It’s definitely an older hotel, but the charm is definitely there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was warm and clean. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the continual breakfast. There was plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and bagels. The location was perfect. You can easily walk to town or to the trail system.

Value option for Aspen
The hotel is one of the cheapest options in Aspen so one should take this into consideration. My room was very outdated and a few things needed repair. The staff was extremely responsive to try to fix these things. The breakfast was an upgraded Continental style and was included in the price. There was also coffee and wine reception provided which was a nice touch, the noise level was pretty high, but luckily everybody went to sleep at a reasonable hour I was by myself, so the room was large enough, but I would question whether more than one person would be comfortable in the room

Thank you for your feedback and glad overall you enjoyed your stay. That room is schedule to have an all new bathroom put in next spring. We have completed 10 of our 13 rooms. When the bathrooms are done it is a very nice improvement. No plans at this time to gut the bedroom areas, ie new wall finishes! This room is set for a max of 3 people but 2 is usually still comfortable. Yes, the old lodge rooms, built 1960-1970 were usually about 250 sqft, compared to the typical size today of around 300-350. Again thank for your feedback and if you return that room type will have a new tile bathroom/walk-in shower..

Staff was friendly but my room needed updated terribly. Room was way too hot . and very dreary and old. Shower was amazing and room was clean. Coffee pot but no coffee or tea so why have it?

That unit had the new bathroom put in, but really can't do much with the rest of the Interior unless the Owner wants to strip everything down to the studs and put in new walls. We have the coffee pots in the rooms in case some people want to buy & make their own coffee, rather then coming to the lobby for free coffee. People actually bring the coffee pot to the lobby and fill it up. Again thank you for staying with us.

Quaint but not quiet
While the front office service is excellent, the hotel itself is a bit rundown and has paper thin walls. Conversations from adjacent rooms could be heard very clearly.
