Not a pleasant stay. Avoid unless all issues are fixed ASAP.

During our stay at the property, we encountered several significant issues: Front Door Lighting: There were no lights at the front door, making it difficult to enter, especially with the elevator next to the door. Shower Area: The shower area was extremely small and barely usable. The shower head did not function properly, and the area became excessively steamy and foggy. Opening the small window to alleviate the steam made the shower inaccessible. The cramped space made it difficult to stand. Commode Area: The commode area was very confined, preventing one from spreading their legs. The space was so limited that leaning forward would result in hitting the wall. Check-In Process: The check-in was managed by a third-party property management company, which required constant updates. Despite messaging them 30 minutes before our arrival, we had to wait 20 minutes for the keys. Key Management and Lockout Issues: The building required two sets of keys: one for the main building, shared by all residents, and another for individual apartments. During checkout, we had to unlock the main building and ensure someone kept it open. Afterward, we left the keys inside the apartment and closed the door, which led to us being locked out. There was no assistance or apology from management. These issues significantly impacted our stay and highlight areas needing improvement. Additionally, the management company did not help in emergencies, so rent at your own risk.

Good

Tha appartement was clean and convenient. But i booked the appartement and my husband did the check in withtout me and he had to pay the appartemant again. (We paid twice). The trip was nice, the appartment is close of acropolis and groceries store. But, we had just 3 cups for breakfast (we was four), no bowls... Regarding the bathroom, it's convenient but very small. And last we had to put toilet paper in the trash, we can't flush it...It's not usual for us. Last but not least, the owner hadn't gave us our refund. We left Greece two weeks ago and no news about our refund (for the second pay). We are a bit despointed because George seems to be helpful. He organised the taxi from the airport and to the airport. We don't understand. The two last message i send never had answer...

Staying in Thissio

Great location near the Acropolis and plaka with many cafes and restaurants nearby. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with washer. Helpful hosts. Finding street parking was sometimes a challenge. We enjoyed our stay here.

Solid place but shower situation was not the best

Good communication with owner and big enough for the 3 of us. There were also nice coffee shops near by. The shower was interesting because you had to have the water heater on 30 mins before and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The bathroom is also pretty small so may not be accessible to some.

Pleasant experience

It is very clean and very comfortable apartment. Communication with apartment management was extremely pleasant. We had prompt response to all our questions and immediate help with all our requests. The apartment is located in residential neighborhood, so it is very easy to get some food or eat out in local eateries. The closest metro station is in approximately 12 min of walking distance. In general, we were enjoying our stay there and I would recommend this place.

First, let me say that the management, Meno Properties, were excellent. They were highly communicative, and solved issues quickly. And the location of the apartment was excellent, equidistant from two handy metro stops. But the apartment is on a very busy street, making the deck virtually useless. Consequently, the deck has been taken over by pigeons, with the accompanying pigeon poop everywhere. Finally, the bathroom is so small it's claustrophobic. I'd stay in this area again, for sure, and would work with Meno Properties again, but just not in this apartment.

Wonderful apartment

Wonderful apartment in a cute area. The owners were super accommodating, we arrived early and they allowed us to drop our bags off early so we could walk around without carrying them before check-in. Very communicative as well, we ended up using their transfer service to and from the airport and they were prompt in responding and assisting us with setting up a driver. All in all an awesome stay, and there was a delicious place with awesome Greek food a few blocks away called Kalligefston that we ate at every day! Within walking distance to the acropolis (about a mile) so we didn’t have to Uber much. Highly recommend!

It's within decent walking distance of all the main sights to see around Athens. It's clean and serves its purpose. However, there are very few cooking utensils, no oven mitts or hot pads I could find, and only 1 bowl, so it's not stocked to actually serve as an apartment, as-is. But it's great if you want the freedom of an apartment and plan to eat out during your stay.

Perfect location in Attica

George was very welcoming and helpful, especially when arranging transport to the port with Panos (thank you Panos for all of the Milos recommendations and safe transport!) The apartment was very comfortable and the location was fantastic! We did not need a vehicle to get to all of the must see places in the heart of Athens. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We will definitely recommend this stay to all of our family and friends who are eager to visit.

Clean apartment and great location!

George was great to work with! Very responsive. Check-in was easy and quick. Location was at the foot of the Acropolis, an easy walk to and from for sightseeing. Several restaurants nearby, and two grocery marts around the corner. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay. When we return to Athens we will definitely stay here again!!

Awesome location!!!

Awesome location walking distance to EVERYTHING! We enjoyed the location where you are walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. Your in the heart of Athens and night life. We loved the grocery store and cafe across the street. We were able to walk to the Ancient Agora and Acropolis in under 10-15min. We highly recommend buying a 3 day metro pass and combo ticket pass for attractions. We also took advantage of the metro. We were a 15 min walk to Thisseio station. The apartment had a great AC which made us feel cool during the hot days, VERY safe, on the 2nd story. Was equipped with towels, and basic toiletries. Very very clean and americanized restroom area. Would stay again for future Athens trip. We also took the metro from the airport to the nearby station to get to the apartment.

No lights

Carry a flashlight to open the entry door. Can't sit straight on toilet because limited knee room. Hot water in the shower has to be prepared 30 minutes before taking a shower. Shower curtain is very nasty. Noisy corner and construction noise on the block. No crosswalk for the busy street. Not enough toilet paper for our stay. No ice cube trays, no paring knife. We had to ask for light bulbs for the main living room lights, one had one bulb, the other had none. Lots of hangers, good washer, beds were hard and short, good coffee shop across the street.

Excellent stay

Very clean property. Good location to metro and food. Attractions were not long distance and communication with property management was excellent. They assisted in any way they could. Tours and drivers were excellent as well. Affordable and reasonable.

Excellent Location, beautiful apartment. Property manager excellent

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. Safe locked bldg. The location was five minutes from the Acropolis walking. Close to grocery, restaurants and shopping! The property manager was very responsive in regards to communication! He arranged transport from port and to airport fir 4 adults and lots of luggage at very reasonable cost.

séjour agréable

Le séjour dans cet appartement a été agréable. Les 2 chambres sont quasi identiques et de taille adéquate, le salon est spacieux. La cuisine et la salle de bain sont plutôt petites mais à 3 ça le fait. Des petites choses devraient être améliorées: fermeture de la salle de bain-WC, des tasses ou des bolles en plus grand nombre, torchons à mettre à disposition, système anti pigeon à imaginer. A part ça, l'appartement est agréable.

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay at George's property. It was centrally located with easy access to supermarkets / restaurants and walkable to all the key tourist locations. Check in process was very smooth and the host was always quick to respond to any questions. Definitely recommend the property and would stay there again when we visit Athens in the future
