Cabin was great for what we were looking for, but the cleaning crew could use some pointers, they made sure to leave there PayPal info for a tip but the cabin was dusty, I get it it’s a cabin it the woods, but there were literally dead bugs in every window sill. Whilst looking for a working TV remote, I made the mistake of shining my flashlight behind the TV only to reveal more dead bugs and about 10 years worth of dust and grime, again I get it it’s a cabin. Then I begin to prepare food, and the fist thing I do is reach for a knife from the block which I was excited about as I noticed the set was from JA Henkel I though wow they actually have decent knives, until I was horrified when I grabbed the handle of the blade to pull it from the wooden block, the handle was covered in some mysterious sticky substance. They certainly do care about the cleanliness of your sheets, they must as the sheets and towels smelled as if the housekeepers Robin and Tammy must have poured and entire half gallon jug of dollar general brand laundry detergent into the washing machine along with three or four generic save a lot tide pods for good measure, the smell of these sheets though clean made us nauseated, and my skin is still itching. They do place some jelly fish alien looking disc in the toilet bowel, that also smells like retched chemicals. If you stay here you may want to stop and get some toilet paper as well one roll is provided however if you should run out there is no spare

Lovely little cabin. Very cozy. Cabin could use a nice deep clean but it wasn't dirty. Just a little dusty. Nothing that would keep us from renting the cabin again in the future. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. It had the basic necessities and the host was kind enough to leave cardboard in the fire ring for a fire starter. Hot tub was perfect! Communication was great as well. Such a peaceful place. If available for our next trip we will return.

The pictures online are very deceiving. We left with bed bug bites from where we were sleeping. Furniture was old and mildewed. No waterfront, a single-wide at the bottom of the hill is but this certainly isn’t. My bad for not looking at the reviews. We were in a big hurry to leave

The yard looked bigger in the pictures. There was only one TV in the whole cabin and it was located in the living room. We stayed for 5 days and had one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels

Just some suggestions

The location of this property was great with easy access to the Forest. The cabin itself was pretty cool and has a lot of potential. It needs some TLC and it would have been nice to have check out and check in instructions, better cookware and decent silverware. The living room furniture was super comfy! Overall, we had a great time!

Weekend Birthday

We booked this place do to its size and how they allowed parties. I needed a bigger space for my party to he thrown. Fits us all really comfortable we had a blast! So beautiful big and fun! The down fall, we get there later then 4 cause my hours ran over at work. The door knob on the inside of the front door. Came right off! I messaged the host the second it happened. There is no closets or places to put your things away if you plan on staying longer then a couple days and finally there was not alot of toilet paper. I know it can be overlooked sometimes. But please more toilet paper. We loved our stay, the hottub was amazing and the emmories i made that weekend were amazing. Side note. My man Proposed to me Saturday night, infront of all our friends. This place will ALWAYS be my favorite spot. Thank you so much. You helped make a memory of a life time.

1. **Electrical Hazards**: Exposed wires at well head could lead to electrical shocks. 2. **Loose Deck and Steps**: Lack of rails around Loose Deck and Steps**: Lack of rails around the hot tub and deck increases the risk of falls, especially given the drop-off. 3. **Unsafe Kitchen Features**: Nail heads sticking out of the kitchen island could potentially injure children. 4. **Balcony Safety**: Easy access for children to the upper room balcony, with risks of falling over the rail. 5. **Steep Stairs**: The steep stairs to the upstairs pose a safety hazard. 6. **Door Gaps**: The back door had a significant gap, allowing drafts and bugs inside. 7. **Access Issues**: The full bath was only accessible through the main bedroom, which can be inconvenient for families. Given these hazards, it seems reasonable that you chose not to stay at this property. I have provided detailed feedback to the property owner or manager. We stayed 1 night of 3 We cleaned and took out the trash and informed the property manager of our departure.I have asked for a partial refund and have no response from the owner.

Great for family gatherings

Place was as pictured clean and easy to get to and was a great price and suited our needs. Our only issue was heat. Despite thermostat being set on 75 + we couldn't get the heat in the cabin up past 62* knocked a star off for this issue.

Launch Pad

I was new to the area. The Chalet was 20-30 minutes from so many of the hiking spots I was hoping to check out. The cabin was clean, warm, and comfortable. It is older and the appliances while not new all worked. The hot tub was perfectly hot! It has one master bedroom and a great loft for bunking children. The host was very responsive to all my questions, especially when I was a little lost upon arrival, as it was in the dark in the woods. He responded immediately to help Me get into the cabin address easily.
